  1. That is some beautiful snow scenes, Melissa, wish we could get some of that stuff, had some flurries today but didn't amount to much. Maybe Thursday but then it might be ice or freezing rain, would rather have the snow. Thanks for sharing these with us.
  2. She is a little monkey isn't she, but she is a lovely one, you do take great pictures Heather but then you have a great subject, thanks for sharing these with us.
  3. Hello and welcome to the family, Giggles, glad you could join us and I hope you are successful in obtaining that grey you want. I can't help you with finding a breeder but a few of the members here might be able to help you in your quest. That offer of $200 each sounds a little fishy to me, I would want to actually see those greys with my own eyes. Please read thru the many threads on various topics for lots of useful information and ask questions, we do our best to answer and help you in any way we can. As far as talking ability, both sexes of the greys are great talkers and I think it is about equal for Tags and Cags.
  4. Glad to hear it is getting better, see with a little patience it works out, keep us informed.
  5. How nice Tracy, I didn't know you could sketch, is that with charcoal? You are talented indeed and now that you do not work outside of the home yes you do have time on your hands wish I did, and you have put it to good use.
  6. Point well taken Tari but it is an individual owner's choice to shoulder or not, I do shoulder Josey but I am always keen to her body language. Now on the other hand I have a sun conure that I can't keep off my shoulder, she is a permanent fixture there when she is out.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your grey so much, Jane, and they are incredible!!!
  8. Hello and welcome to the family, Allie, glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and these two greys. I just love your login name, biteable, I guess that says it all. I am sorry you have such a tough time with Puddy, but like LMG said they choose who their favorites are and there is not much you can do about it. You could be the one to give her treats and such and that might win you a little attention from her. I have somewhat of the same problem with a sun conure and one of my granddaughters, the conure hates her and looks for her when she is here and if she gets any where near her she lunges to bite her. I have to keep her away and usually in her cage when she is here. Please read thru the many threads on various topics for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask specific questions you may have. We will do our best to get you an answer and help you in any way we can. If you have some pictures of the two greys you would like to share with us we would love to see them.
  9. No we let the grammer police go a long time ago, no one is leaving at least not on my watch and certainly not for some bad grammer.
  10. Terri for some reason we have heard from several sources that cold water is preferred for bathing by greys, I know this sounds crazy but if it works then so much the better.
  11. Yes please introduce yourself in the welcome room and tell us a little about yourself and Nala, I assume that is her name, beautiful grey by the way.
  12. I think you are expecting too much too soon, you haven't even brought him home yet, he only sees you for visits, you don't say how often you see him. The bonding process will start after you bring him home and until that time I wouldn't worry about it. You do have a lovely looking grey baby though.
  13. The place I ordered some from only sends them out in the cold weather, if it happens to be a warm spell they won't ship at least thats what they said.
  14. Oh that is a very pretty kitty too, I love the markings on the tabby cat and it does look very healthy even though it lives outside. Thanks for sharing a picture of your "almost forgotten" cat.
  15. In my opinion, if the fecal matter is black that is an indication that there is blood in the stool, never a good sign, vet visit pronto.
  16. Hello Frank, I use the Safari Organic Red Palm oil and I bought it from www.drsfostersmith.com but I am not sure they sell it any longer. I found another source of it at www.safarimkt.com I haven't ordered any from them because I still have some but I will when what I got runs out. Hope this helps, I don't know if it will be any different from what you are using.
  17. Preferably in a travel cage if you have one, but if not I guess a box will have to do, cut some holes in it first.

    Food Crazy

Its kind of like monkey see, monkey do, if they see us eating something they want it too, and yes they do know what the rustle of bags and packaging are. In fact Josey knows when I get the bag of shredded cheese out of the fridge, she can recognize it and begs right off the bat as soon as she sees it.
  19. Sounds like a good plan Lovie and Josey won't go to just anyone but me but my hubby can give her cheese and she will take it from him easily.
  20. It could just be something he ate but I would rather you take him in to see a vet especially if he has not gone in for a while and his poops have been this way for a few weeks. You are just going to have to reach in and get him if he won't step up for you, there is no other way around it. Make an appointment and take him ASAP. Let us know what you find out, we care.
  21. I sure will Tracy and maybe pictures if you are lucky!!
  22. Gotch cha, I thought it was but wanted to make sure, thanks Melissa.
  23. I knew it, I just knew it would be shortly that we would learn that Dayo was talking and his first word is Hello, and I know you are as proud as pudding, congrats Dan!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
  24. Sure why not, Josey does the same thing, she tries to bathe in her water bowl but has the same problem, it is not big enough. Just put some kind of heavy dish that she can't turn over and fill it part way with water and see if she will use it, just be prepared for the shower of water everywhere, LOL  :woohoo:
  25. Jimmy, I have the adventure pack that is a cage with a backpack cover that you can wear on your back, just plug in adventure pack in search and some sources will come up, a very good item to have.
