What I have is 100% aloe vera juice and it is clear but has that slight tint to it, I don't know about the whole leaf pulp, is it liquid like water? You know you can get a mister that you can set up and have it come down on her, you could use just water to get her thoroughly soaked and then give her a finishing off with some aloe juice as thats all she needs. I know this is frustrating for you since she hates the spray but she really needs the baths for her feathers and skin. My Josey doesn't like baths or showers either but she will tolerate them.

My aloe vera juice is clear but it has a slight tan tint to it almost like weak tea. You need to ignore the plucking, just like Dan said, some are so sensitive and smart and they pick up on our emotions and reactions and you certainly don't want to encourage it further.

Well forewarned is forearmed so heed the warnings and those things won't happen to your grey. Thanks Mary for sharing that link with us, we all need to bookmark it for future reference.

That sounds like a good vacation and I'm sure Dayo will enjoy it too being out in the wilderness. I hope no bears come into your camp and they shouldn't for we all know Dan is no MORON:whistle:

Well it was red this morning and the white part was the prettiest color of pink, I wish I could share a pic of it with ya:sick: but she dropped that bomb in her cage before I fed her. I knew it was going to be a good one because she was chowing down on them beets and left her peas.:laugh: :whistle: :lol:

I love cats and kittens too but I hate to see you so disappointed, he always gets his way doesn't he, it sure sounds like it and he is more concerned about his dang TV than anything else. Sorry about my rant on your man but men are not my concern at the moment, I have about had it with all of them. Don't you give up on your dream not for any man:angry:

It takes a while for a new grey to feel comfortable and safe in its new home and the bonding process can take lots of time to build but well worth it when it does finally happen. Please read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have and we will do our best to get you some answers and help you in any way we can. If you have some pictures of Chloe you would like to share with us we would love to see her.

Thats nice you two have that close relationship and get along good for the kids, that is rare in this world today and if it works for you then so much the better. I didn't mean for you to have to explain about your ex, its really none of our business, but was just curious that he does things for you and you seem to get along with him. Its a shame that more couples could get along better when they separate, so many are at each other's throats and the kids are the ones that suffer for it.

You can start out with the smaller cage if you like just don't put many toys and things in there to take up all the space, then you can move it to the bigger cage and put something down on the bottom to cushion any falls until it gets more adept at climbing around the cage. Just put the bowls and perches lower at first then later you can raise them some.

Pat I am so glad Mr Magoo is coming home, it was just not meant for him to be accepted in their home, he belongs with you in his own home. Things have a way of working out for the best and the air filter system will enable you to keep him and you not suffer for it. You must have a nice ex husband to do these things for you as most want to wash their hands of anything to do with their ex wives. I can't wait to see some pics of the homecoming, I bet you and him will be grinning from ear to ear with joy.B)
