Dee, I embrace my age as it is just a number, growing old is what we do, nothing can stop the clock from ticking and our time on earth from ending, might as well enjoy your time here and make the most of it, I am and making up for lost time for we never know when our time comes, I have wrinkles and age spots but who cares, definitely not me, you take me as I am, you might say I am growing old as gracefully as I can.

My cockatiel does this when I have her near me when I speak especially if she is right in front of me, I think she has extra sensitive ears and it may bother her so maybe it is the same way with Storm, I make sure she is away from me some when I speak to her.

Sorry to hear she is still in the cone as I know you were looking forward to having that removed earlier but your vet knows best, thats great that new feathers are coming in and her skin has healed from her ordeal, soon she will be as if it had never happened, thanks for the update on Neytiri.

So glad to hear Sophie took care of her little problem, I know she feels better for it and Nancy does too.

My fids don't pay any attention to the tv and its a good thing for my hubby can't live without it so it is on all the time he is in the house except for when he is in bed, I leave a radio on during the day while I am at work. I have to echo Val's idea of trying another tv as it could possibly be a noise you cannot hear or notice but Dorian surely is.

That is a long trip but splitting it up will help a lot, most birds travel well and the suggestions given by Dave are excellent, it will give the two of you some time to get used to one another and be something for you to remember, have a safe trip and have fun.
