Lola may be so well socialized that she may not become phobic about things as lots of greys do, I know mine is very watchful of anything new or different and it takes her some time to accept the fact that its not going to eat her. I'd say as the years go by she will gradually get a little more cautious and not be as brave as she is now.
Birds do have very sensitive respiratory systems and we do have to be extra careful of any chemicals used inside our homes. You are right Dee to question the exterminator's answer to your question for most times it is safe for dogs and cats but as said before birds are different, if you do decide to allow the spraying remove your birds from the house until its all clear just in case.
Please do get her used to the harness while she is still young and accepting of it, she may be fearless now but more than likely as she gets older she will become more cautious as greys tend to be leary of anything new or different but who knows maybe she will be one of the exceptions to the rule.
You are right, if there are many people and other types of pets in the household it will be more difficult to have a fully flighted bird but like you said your vet can help you with that decision as he knows you better than we do.
That's wonderful, now will you graduate her to a harness so she can go outside or stick with the flight suit? She looked comfortable in it from the pictures on your blog.
Willie has been well taken care of and who knows how long he will live but I have no doubt that either before he passes away or soon thereafter there will be another tiel in the Ray household for once you have had one you find you can't live without one in your life, they are great little companions and pack a lot of personality in a small package.
Hello Fastcar and welcome to our family.
I assume you are handfeeding Thor since he is too young to be weaned but they do grow quickly. Why not tell us some more about you and whether you have any other birds or pest so we can get to know you a little better.
Would love to see some pictures of Thor if you have some.
Yes the lovely Argyle, he seems nice from a distance but go too close and you find out why he has those nicknames, I have seen him though and he is very pretty.
Hello Janelle and welcome to our family.
Congrats on finally realizing your dream of having a grey share your life with you and as you well know it takes time for an older bird to readjust to a new home.
So sorry for the circumstances of Roger, poor dear to have to suffer a fall down a flight of steps and lose one of his wings, good thing he landed in your home for you have given him just what he needs and I must say that 28 years is a long time but I know you look forward to many many more with him.
I won't ask for pictures for I know you have added some of both your birds.
That is wonderful news about Neytiri, so glad she is doing better and that should make you very happy, thanks for keeping us in the loop on her progress.
She IS adorable and I love that picture of her on a plate, like she is part of the dinner, I can see you are loving life with her and its returned, thanks for sharing the pictures with us, you do have a real sweetheart.
Hello Mary and welcome to our family.
Wow you are both young and have a full life together, grow old together and I bet she is a real sweetheart. Would love to see some pictures of Shelby if you have some you would share with us.
They do not need a bath every day, just once or twice a week is sufficient, some will try to take one in their water bowl but if they don't you can give them one yourself with several methods described in the health room, here are the links:

Piper is a cutie pie and for sure he is a male for only the males sing, Gypsy doesn't so pretty sure she is a female, tiels can be quite inquisitive little birds and mine isn't afraid much which gets her in trouble sometimes, thanks for sharing Piper's sweet singing with us.
My sweet Josey is 7 years old today, seems like just yesterday I brought her home as a 4 month old baby grey and now she is all grown up but she loves her mommy and is getting more fond of her daddy as time goes on. She is going to get extra special treatment today as we spend it doing things together, I love my little girl so much.
