It has come to my attention that we need another help group and it was suggested by Deb, aka katana so here goes, Tippling Occasionally On Thursday, or T..T., cute huh!!
Sometimes F.A.R.T. just isn't enough and some of us need all the help we can get so Thursday October 1, 2009 kicks off the first day of this fab group.

I done figured this out, Jill loves the attention and guess what, she got it but she got more than she bargained for, too bad, you have to take the bad along with the good Jill.

We are not vets either and we cannot make any diagnosis here, you need to find an avian vet even if you have to travel way out of your way to do it. Birds are masters of hiding illness so do what you have to to get Silvester some medical attention.
You are full of it but thats another story:lol: , I bet you are grinning from ear to ear hearing Dixie say "mom" how wonderful is that, thanks for sharing that with us Robin, now get back to work.B)
Thats so funny, they thought they were regular peas and thats what they like, imagine their surprise when you give them those crunchy ones, oh well more for you then.
Congrats on your new baby Elvis and you are right, so many things can go wrong but we do have some threads in the nursery room that will help you with that.
Why don't you introduce yourself in the welcome room and tell us some more about you and Elvis.
Jill you know we love you just the way you are, its what makes you - you and we will pass judgment on your looks when we know what you look like, heh heh heh.
Oh she is enjoying that massage with the cell phone, better that than letting her destroy it and she would in no time, Koko will be saying "tuk tuk" all the time now to get those massages and who can blame her.
Thanks for sharing these pictures of her with us.

Deb don't think of it like that, you put her at peace, yes she died but it was a merciful death but you do need time to grieve and in time you will get over it and remember all the good times you had with her, cherish those and don't dwell on how she got that way.
Forget those boxed macaroni and cheese mixes, a true southerner would only make that from scratch and with real cheddar cheese in it too, my mom could make the best, now my daughter tells me I make the best.

What world are you living in Jill, it is only about one month not two, you silly girl!!
I don't have to worry about that here since I live out in the country where no one puts off fireworks but it would probably freak Josey and Sunny out if we did.
I think turning the tv or radio up loud to muffle some of the noise is a good idea and probably keeping them in their cage is best.
