  1. I love the adventures or sometimes misadventures of Spock, what a story teller he is and cute pictures too, thanks for sharing them with us.
  2. Hello Chomolka and welcome to our family, we are so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and your grey. What is your grey's name? If you are having a problem with your grey not eating you should be consulting your avian vet, that is a serious matter and none of us here are vets.
  3. Sasha is a cutie and what a ham he is hanging there in his cage, boy he made himself right at home didn't he, thanks for sharing a couple of pics with us.
  4. Good grief, you Floridians must be freezing to death down there but as long as the bird stays inside with no windows open or any drafts blowing in on her she should be fine. Of course up north we have our heat on if the outside temperature gets too cold but they still need their baths and will do fine.
  5. Thats not Tiggs, quit trying to pass of a stuffed animal for your cat Tiggs or have you kicked him out into the street? {Emotions-000200BA}
  6. Just look at her at the bowling alley, what a trooper she is and that is great that she wasn't scared at all of the noise and activity, she will do well. Wow it is cold in Florida if it is 48 degrees, not that much cooler here in Virginia today either but a little breezy so makes the cool air feel even colder.
  7. I am glad to hear you have found a wonderful home for all the dachsies, they will be well taken care of and you know you can see them when you want to, that will help you and Bill feel at ease about their future. Poor Bill, enduring the pain instead of going to the ER but bless his heart I hope he can be helped by his doctor tomorrow, I will be thinking of him. Tell him not to give up just yet, he still has plenty of life left to live and he may get to do some things he has been wanting to do. Keep us informed and good luck tomorrow.
  8. Sachi is adorable even if she is a little peeved at the camera, some just don't like it but I hope it didn't last, anyways thanks for sharing it with us.
  9. Wow the fun begins, congrats on bringing home your baby grey, just give him some time to settle in and feel comfortable but it sounds like he is doing just fine. I look forward to seeing some pictures when you get the chance.

  11. I can't wait to see this toy in action, the suspense is killing me!
  12. I am so sorry to hear this Rhonnie, that seems to be the fate of a lot of older men but there is hope, maybe after he sees the doctor on Monday he will be helped, at least that is what I am hoping for. We will be here any time you need us Rhonnie.
  13. If I ever go to Brazil I will be sure to check them out, thanks for sharing that link with us Adina.
  14. Thanks Deb for letting us know this has a happy ending, she is home safe and sound.

    Palm Nuts

Twenty five pounds of palm nuts are a lot of nuts!!
  16. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of your book Donna, it should be a greyt read. Thanks for joining our family.
  17. We here are all nuts but a good kind of nuts, grey nuts and no one understands us better than ourselves and people like us. I can understand it was an exciting moment to see Ceasar fly to you, may you have the pleasure of many many more flights.
  18. Hello Donna and welcome to our family, we are so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Rosie Red Bottom. What a cute name for a grey and so appropriate since they do have a lovely red tail and I am going to have to check out your book for I love funny stories.
  19. I'll bet in another month or two she will be back to saying more things in your voice, she just likes the sound of his right now, you may not hear it as much as before but then you don't live alone anymore either, take the bad along with the good Charlene.
  20. Congrats Rhonnie, some people might think you are a little nuts but we completely understand where you are coming from, I can't wait until I can see my Josey take flight again.
  21. I have seen them several times and Gonzo coming in to feed Camilla, this is fascinating to watch and I know you can't wait to pull those chicks so you can take over and cuddle and play with them, wow would like to be you for a while Dave so I could enjoy it but you certainly have given us a view we would otherwise never have seen.
  22. Yoshi may be a closet talker, some greys do not like to talk in the presence of their owners but she has plenty of time to really start talking more and better, she is still really young yet. Congrats on teaching her to turn around, nothing like a nice piece of cheese to motivate a smart bird to do what you want them to for it. Thanks for the great update on Yoshi, in time she will be amazing you with what she can say and you will be wishing she would shut up, NOT!!
  23. Hello Andre and welcome to our family, we are so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Amarii. What a lovely name for a grey, is this your first grey, your first parrot? You will find lots of useful information in our many threads so do read thru them and ask questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can. We love pictures here so if you have some of Amarii you would share with us we would love to see them.
  24. That is a nice cage, similar to the one I have for Josey except it is reversed, thanks for sharing that with us.
