You can switch to another blend if you like, either offer the new one by itself or combine the new with what he is eating now and gradually increase the new and decrease the other until he is getting all new.
A lot of the members here feed Harrison's high potency pellets, that is the brand that most vets recommend and it is what my grey eats, she snacks on them all day.
Please do share some pictures, videos and stories of your birds as we would love to see them.
I look forward to hearing more about your healthy diet for you and your parrots, I don't always eat healthy but I try to provide healthy meals for my fids so if you have some information for us it would be warmly welcomed.
Hiccup, opps sorry excuse me, ahem, where was I, yeah right, I am gonna have a drink because I deserve it and I am still concerned about Jordan, my granddaughter but she will be fine I know it and when she is better you all will be the first to know it.
All greys are individuals and so you will just have to play it by ear, let her settle into her new home and see how it goes. Some greys will allow a lot of touching and some won't, you will soon find out where in that scheme of things your grey fits.
In one word - yes, they can pick up something and mimic it perfectly after hearing it just once Jill, and how to stop it, forget it, learn to live with it!
Hello Jacky and welcome to our family, so glad you found us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Smokey.
Animals do brighten up a day, you can have a very difficult day at work and come home to your pets and feel so much better, they put a smile on your face and lift your spirits.

No I don't think Scarlett is spoiled, I think she is hormonal. Do you pet or touch her much? You could be stimulating her sexually and she is screeching in frustration.
I'm glad Bill is feeling better and those meds are probably the reason but sad to hear that the dog is gone, know that is heartbreaking but that was to be expected but you know she will be well taken care of and loved.
Yes it is amazing how fast they do grow and they look like it is no way they came out of an egg that size, they are so adorable and I can't wait until you pull them and hear the story of how you did it. Thanks for sharing that picture with us.

You would have to use something to cut the band without harming your bird's leg, maybe Dave007 has an idea of what you can use and how you can do it yourself, you can pm him and ask, be sure to tell him you do not have access to an avian vet.
Sorry I can't be of more help to you.
The band can cause irritation of the leg but the worst thing is that it can get caught on something and then the leg gets injured or the bird dies from trying to get free from it. I chose not to have my grey banded for that very reason, I have the band in my possession.
An avian vet can remove it, they have the tools to do it without harming your bird, never attempt to try to remove it yourself.
