You won't have to teach him at all. He will pick up just about EVEYTHING you say around the house. Sometimes, I will say specific things to them as I make eye contact over and over again, it usually is within 2 days they will get it, providing they WANT to say it! :blink:

I used the exact same bulb as you, and my grey had the exact redness around her eye. I took her into the vet 2 times, and the vet thought it was an eye infection and I had to torture her with eye drops!! It started to get better, but then when I put her in her cage, it got worse!! It took me about 2 weeks to realize it was the bulb giving her a sunburn! It was new, I used a different light previously, and never experienced this problem. Needless to say, I threw that bulb away, and went back to my other one. I think they should be taken off the market!! :angry:

Hey Everyone: Before you go and start bickering over the "words" and "opinions" that members write...remember, that this person's first post, is a question that gives us no information, no history, no explanation, no timing as to when this happens, why, how long, etc. Those of us that have been here for years, have seen such posts as this before, and MANY times, it is a troll, or someone trying to get regular members all riled up and arguing.......I'm NOT saying this is the case here, but BEWARE, and without further info from this person, we really can't offer any GOOD advice! How about giving it a rest and waiting for this member to come back and answer some of the questions...if they really wants help, then that's what they would do. But asking a "one'liner" and then disappearing for 3 days tells us otherwise so far.

Woo Hoo! I am so happy for you Carol. I have a tag and a cag just a few months apart, but they weren't brought together until almost a year ago. They tolerate each other, but by no means are they friends yet. I would imagine 2 from the same clutch would love each other and be very different than my 2.
