Hi Beccy, Yes I did take them.. I have about 150 shots from that concert.. I have posted them on the official Backstagejbj.com site and I am flattered that you think they are so good.. The thing about these photos is they were taken by a cheap point and shoot camera as they would not allow me to take my Pro equipment into the concert.. I use these photos as examples to folks that have point and shoots... Telling them that they can get great photos from the cameras they have... Splint..Make sure you photos are no wider then 500 pix.. Can you re edit these? I LOVE the shot of max by the trash can.. PRICELESS brother...

Did I hear Richie Sambora.. Yeah. I watched him from about 10 feet away in Tampa, Florida last summer.. Holy Cow... These were some of my best concert shots.. And of course.. where there's Richie.. There's Jon..

Splint.. I like the Canon line up very well. They make great high end digitals.. Nikon and Canon are really the only players these day. In the lower price range you will be better served with the Nikon line.. The D40x is an awesome new model.. If you got the Canon EOS 400D you would be happy. It's a good Digital. Excellent resolution and color.. It will make some spectacular photos. If you think you can get a better price on the Nikon here in the US.. Let me know. We could work something out where I would buy it for you then ship it to you... PM me if you're interested in doing this.

Be carefull with him around your keyboard.. He will break the buttons off it.. Ask me how I know.. And in my case it was expensive laptops that were damaged...

I worried about this when I left Ceasar for 11 days.. Don't worry. When you return he will be just as you left him. Happy to see you and making all kinds of sounds.. . Spend as much time as you can with him before you leave..

Hi Rae,, Oh yeah.. sure. We blast Bon Jovi music all the time.. Ceasar loves making noises when we do this... I'm trying to get Ceasar to sing a song called Love Me Back To Life.... I want him to say that... Needless to say the song has special meaning to me...

Talon.. I don't know if I brought tears to her eyes because we are far away from each other at this time.. What I can tell you is SHE brought tears to my eyes... Sometimes I think I'm so tough and strong. That I can conquer the world single handed.. Then comes this little lady out of no where that takes my breath away and brings me to my knees like a quivering coward .. What is this? How is this possible.. I have had a few girlfriends in my life... I never felt like this before...

Great advice so far.. I can tell you this.. Your Grey is biting you because he is afraid of you.. Biting is a defensive tactic animals use to protect themselves.. In order for the biting to stop the Grey needs to feel safe.. Two ways to achieve this.. The easy but long way and the hard but fast way.. The easy but long way is the just slowly allow your bird time to realize that you are no threat to him. Patience is the key here.. NEVER tap him.. The reasons are outlined in the excellent replies you already got.. The hard but fast way to make your Grey understand you are no threat is to just allow him to bite you... without any grimace or yell... Be determined to make him Step up onto you ... Then do the Ladder technique but allowing him to step up from one hand to the other.. give me a treat.. make him understand that you bring treats not fright.. He will also understand that the biting is not doing a thing to you... He will stop.. Biting is hard for them.. uses lots of energy.. They would rather NOT bite then bite... Now of course it's not easy to use this approach as you will get hurt.. but in the long run it's the approach i used with my Yellow Nape. My hands were chop meat for awhile but the bird got the message... Certainly what FariY and Judy are telling you could be the fact. She had a bad experience with a basket of some kind.. But it doesn't have to be that way. She could just be afraid of baskets... Ceasar was terrified of ballons.. it's not like he had a bad experience with a ballon once as he has not.. He is just afraid.. You will find this sometimes with certain items.. It could be this is the case with your Grey.. It takes T I M E.. Remember.. Time to you does not pass the same for a Grey.. For you a week seems like a long time.. For the Grey a week is a flash... So it takes T I M E.. Don't get discouraged.. Get determined. Months need to go by before you will start to see major changes in your Greys personality..
