Hi Everyone. I thought that today would be a good day to dust off my camera equipment and start taking pictures again. Photography is something I love so what better time then now to visit ButterFly World. I didnt realize that entry to a place like this would be so expensive. It was just under $100 to get in I thought I was getting ripped off.. Until I entered the place.. Then I thought it was too cheap. The following is a photo essay (without any words) B) B) I hope you enjoy YOUR visit to Butterfly World as much as I loved going there.. Here ya go. Then there were the Hummingbirds. It's not easy catching these fellows in flight. This was a little cutie too. And what would a trip to a place like this be without parrots.. right. So there ya have it.. Hi Luv, Wow what a wonderful post you write me. I appreciate it very very much. While I did have some part in building this place to what it is I can not take more then a small amount of credit. You see, the reason this place is what it is, is because of the members. You see, I believe Grey Owners are amoung the best group of considerate and caring people in the world. When you put people like that together in one place the result is... well... It's what we have here. When you look at this place you can also attribute it's success to the excellent staff of Admins and Moderators we have. God only knows what this place would look like if we didn't have the group of people we have running things. It allows me to "take off" like I have when I know Talon and her staff of moderators at dedicated to keeping this place what is is.. It is good to type here once again. I can tell you, relocating your entire life to a state 1100 miles away from "home" isn't or wasnt easy. As Bon Jovi says "You can take the boy from his home but you can't take the home from the boy" Thats me exactly. I miss NYC and everything it was to me. Anyway. Thanks again to you for your wonderful post. CD

Hi everyone. Following a near escape by Ceasar into the beautiful Florida landscape I decided to CLIP him once again. I was so sorry I had to do this to him but it was just to dangerous to have him able to fly. My kids are in and out of the sliding doors in the room where Ceasar hangs out I had to do something. Anywhy.. One of the by-products of having him clipped it my ability once again to take him outside. Ceasar LOVES being outside in the Florida Sun. So today I had him out while I enjoyed my morning coffee. It was such a beautiful day too. He LOVED it.. Believe me, I can tell. The light was beautiful for taking pictures so out came my Nikon and click click click I went. I wanted to share these with you. Its been quite some time since I last posted photos of Ceasar.. So without taking any more of your time reading this, here he is. Quite the clown in this one. There ya go. I hope you like them. I'll get some more posted real soon. CD

That is a cute dog.. You know they say dogs look like their owners.. Does that mean you're cute too? :P

She was such a gentle creature. I can remember finding Xena as a tiny baby. We came to find that she was a Cedar Waxwing. I had never seen one before and Xena was a beautiful example. She had a very simple life. All she ever wanted to do was sit on my shoulder and have me feed her raisins. She would fly around the kitchen watching me. As soon as I opened the cabinet where the raisins were she would make a dash right to my finger. Xena and Ceasar sort of got along. Ceasar was pretty accepting of Xena until Xena attacked Ceasar and ripped out his tail feathers. Of course I'm just kidding. Ceasar wanted to "explore" Xena but the size difference between Ceasar and Xena was too great and Xena was very afraid. One day we were away on a short vacation when we got the call. You see Xena passed away. We didn't get a chance to say goodbye to her. That hurts me even to this day. Xena lived a normal life in terms of her years. You see Cedar waxwings only life a couple of years. Xena was 3 when she passed. Here's to you Pretty Xena. I LOVE YOU and always will. You will never be forgotten. I can assure you of that. Good post Talon. Many great companies run their businesses by listening to their customers. While no one that visits here is really a "customer", as forum operators we certainly do listen to everyone. So as Talon sums up. Please do state your reason for leaving. This is the to "change your mind" there will be no debate on the subject. We only want to know how we can improve and if there is something we can do to prevent some of the issues that cause some to quit. CD

Hi Everyone, it's good to be back in the forum again. It's been a LONG hard road that one day I'll tell you all about.. It's a lesson in "Murphys law" if ya know what that means. The reason I write you today is to remind you that running this forum cost big dollars. Hosting, technical support, programmers, admin and moderators time are a few of the things that eat up dollars at an alarming rate (not to mention all the "FREE" labor being used) Recently I have noticed that certain members have been "advertising" other websites here in Grey Forums. While we certainly endorse ones right to start an internet website we must draw a line when it comes to advertising said sites for "FREE" here on Greyforums. It is against GreyForum rules and policy to "advertise" any website for "FREE" If you have a website you want to "Advertise" here please contact me for current rates. Just to update this situation for my friends here. We ended up finding another buyer for my buyer. That was sort of a miracle if you ask me. Anyway, we are closing in a week or two. It's a good thing too because I have no job now. Anyway, soon things will be back in order for me and the family. I look forward to the days of hanging out here with all you guys. Those days are just around the corner now. I want to thank everyone that said things would work out. You were truely right. :)

Hi everyone.. Yeah I know, you haven't seen me around lately.. Let me explain so you don't think I'm being anti-social I have been involved in a relocation by my company.. I currently live in NY and I am being relocated to Coral Springs Florida. I hate moving. Especially when it's out of state. All the things you have to do and plan for. First I had to spend a few weeks in Florida looking for a house. Then I had to contact moving companies. Boy did I learn stuff about moving companies. Finally we had to pack the entire house. That was after I cleaned out the attic, basement and garage. Jeezzz there was so much junk there I could not believe it. I feel sorry for the garbage man.. Then came the packing.. We lived in the house we are in for about 10 years. Needless to say we have LOTS of stuff that needs to be packed. Our closing date WAS January 11th so we are basically packed up and waiting. Now the fun starts. The buyer of my house in NY had a buyer for his house. That buyer had a buyer for his house and that buyer had a buyer for his house.. At the end of this long chain was a buyer that decided that he didn't want to go along with the purchase.. The entire chain came screeching to a halt.. :( :( It's a disaster. Literary a disaster. You see now I'm not moving when I thought I was.. AND I have no job anymore bacause the company replaced me already. OMG.. Talk about a turn of events... Now I have to wait for my buyer to resell his house.. This is gonna be a nasty New Year for me.. Anyway, that's why you haven't been seeing me.. To be honest I haven't been in the mood lately..

You make me laugh Birdmom. You cry about internet security yet you take a PRIVATE EMAIL I sent to you and ONLY YOU and post it in public. YOU ARE THE JOKE HERE. If I wanted that email public I would have posted it here. It's interesting to see the other members take on this matter. Like many have noted, YOU are responsible for your security.. Not me, this site, or any other admin or moderator that spends countless time here without pay.. Give me a break already. By your standard all the telephone books in the world violate security. What a laugh. Take some common sense classes to go along with all your other "degrees" I think you need them..
