I use the floor lamp and avian light bulb in your pic. Timber doesn't get any natural sun either, and they need it. As to the heating items, I have no idea. My house is between 62 and 80, and hasn't been a problem.

What a sweetheart! I've never had a bird who tried to get on my head, so have no experience with that.

Yes, I think it is exactly the same one. It isn't a puzzle for him, but he loves it anyway. Sometimes he hangs on it and eats, sometimes he plays with it like in the video. I knew someone had asked about them but couldn't remember who! That's one of the reasons I posted it. The tube bells are stainless and I found them at the bird fair. They are indestructible and great!

Timber loves his boing, but not when I replace it (he shreds on it and it has to be replaced periodically so he doesn't get his talons tangled in the threads). Even if I buy the exact color etc., he looks at it like it is the devil for almost a week. Charlie will warm up to it, you are doing it right just letting him get used to it until he is ready!

That's the truth. I get 95% of my bird stuff online, the other 5% at the annual bird fair about an hour from me.

Timber is a "floor bird" also. He loves to strut around the house, hide behind things and forage for tidbits I might have missed cleaning. He likes to get under his cage and "hide." Sometimes he will take a beloved blue plastic straw under there and I hear his talons scrabbling around under there (tile floor) as he plays with the straw. He also loves to chase shoes. He will bite the shoe then jump on top of it and flap his wings in a show of dominance. They are such funny creatures!

That's great! Timber just likes to be where I am. He rides my forearm (he's afraid of hands) through the house and when I sit, he sits with me. Any playing we do isn't when he's on my arm. That's cuddle time for Timber. When I sit, he'll tuck his head into my chest or stomach and that's my cue to give him a good head scratching.
