know such thing as a stupid question I have seen this with my Alfie and wondered the same but with in couple of days the feather was out and is now sitting proud with my collection
-
this is so sad but I admire your determination to get your baby back with you, I have know knowledge of these things as I'm in UK but look forward to hearing you are both back safe and sound, good luck
-
I know you will all think I'm mad but so happy Alfie has proved his love for me had my first experience of him regurgitating!!!! Don't worry I stayed calm and showed no reaction and started playing with his toys as a distraction. But its official he loves me even with his bites lol
-
great vids and love your bird room
-
so funny, wish Alfie would just stand in water let alone dive bomb it
-
That's made me cry, I'm so pleased she's back home safe and sound, don't blame your self it could happen to any of us however careful we are, bet you have to keep going and checking she really is back, so pleased for you all

as others have said tend to come out in pairs, I get so excited when Alfie drops a flight feather means his getting his big boy ones in place, is anyone else as daft as me I keep them all in a little pot!!! why? I really don't know

Great stand but I would hide those wires on show at the back, they love the things you don't want them to

Last couple of days Alfie has been saying 'hello' but in a different voice to normal, couldn't work out where he had picked it up from until my son heard me answer the phone!! I say a much sweeter 'hello' on the phone, which I had never realized until Alfie decided to point out what a posh snob I can be!!!! dam you Alfie
-
I just talk to Alfie through out the day he started talking at 11months and words just keep coming an example, we brought him a bell had it on the outside of cage once he excepted it wasn't going to eat him I would sit by cage and gently tap it saying 'ring the bell' its now progressed to the bell being in the cage and when he whats attention he will bang it saying 'ring a bell alfie' or 'ann ring the bell' I now question myself, why on earth did I start this!!
-
So sweet looks happy to me, Alfie flys all over the kitchen when I do it, we both have a spray !!
-
and it gets so much better, Alfie started at 11 months with 'hello' and over the last 3 months he has come out with all sorts I make a note of it in a book he can now say so many things latest one is 'bye bye' , tells the dog 'go on then' when his going out, but there is nothing like that first word!

Hi guys its been a mad couple of days my mom was taken ill and we spent hours at hospital ect all has turned out well thankfully, but Alfie has also had rough couple of days in fact yesterday he had no out of cage time at all, today feeling more relaxed I let Alfie out expecting him to be mad with me and was ready for the bites, but low and behold he was great we spent about an hour chatting, he did his normal naughty stuff like going on top of door to peel wall paper off!! but this is a normal part of our day I remove him and he tells me his a good boy! So gold star for Alfie today.
