    Peanut Butter

How can i argue with that??...lol
  2. I cant help wondering if living on your own would make this harder or easier for you, harder as in both birds have to `fight` for the affection of one human, or it could be they both accept they have to get along as there is only one human to get affection from hmmm
  3. Archie is pretty brave aswell,he does accept new things quite quickly ,there is only 2/3 things i have tried to give him and he has not accepted with in 5 mins,he gave one of the willow sticks a lick today then run away lol.....cute really

What is it about Ellie that every picture i see of her she just looks sooooo cute
  5. I just assumed you could put any species of bird together in an aviary , i would not of thought you could have rabbits at the bottom though as iam sure they see most birds as a predator so it would make them stressed,i could be wrong though??
  6. I have 3 birds 1 grey 2 tiels,1 tiel doesnt leave the cage unless he wants a quick fly so no problems there, the other tiel is `tolerated` ,as she is out of the cage all day, until it comes to trying to take/play with Archies cardboard boxes, but luckily she picks up on the signs to go away so not had any real problems there ,she is how ever allowed on and in hes cage , she is welcome to his food drink and toys in there,he will just sit there and watch her
  7. We have a country park 5mins away from us ,we went there yesterday to find lots and lots of cut down branches etc that would be perfect for a home made stand size wise, the problem is my hubby is a gardner and says the wood has a disease, but i was wondering if we sanded it down would it then be ok to use?
  8. When we got Archie i went out and spent a small fortune on toys for him, swings, ropes, bells, chains etc etc, even made the home made straw toy and phone book hanging toy for him to have in hes cage, and what does he do with them???NOTHING!!.....he complteley ignores any toy he has all he is interested in is having a cardboard box to chew to pieces ,i brought him some willow stripping sticks thinking he would wet himself with excitment, hes scared of them!!haha
  9. Awwww i nearly cried, that is so sad,i wouldve had to take the bird , but then i suppose he wouldve just replaced it with another....horrible horrible man!!
  10. This might be abit of a silly questrion but ill ask anyway, can i now say for deffinate Archie is a boy??,as obviously iam a girl,or would he be the same with a man?,you know like does it matter what `sex` either us humans or birds are as they show this love to the chosen one no matter what?

Awww she looks so cute,i like how you put some tissue down for her to eat on but the bread is no where on it lol, does she find it as hard to wipe off and the greys seem to??
  12. Iam intrigued as to what happens with watermelon as Archie wont touch it ... I didnt realise they could stain their selves , it was the first time i had seen anything red on him so just assumed it was blood, now i no if i feed red not to panic straight away, but no dought i will find something else to panic about lol

    Peanut Butter

After reading this i thought we would try peanut butter on toast ..... Started nice and clean... Finished like this... Took him a while to wipe it off, dont think he was amused by that but he loved it
  14. I have recently kitted out Archies cage with alot of new toys i orderd of the internet and i was wondering if its to much as it seems a bit crowded now , considering when we got him he only had 1 toy in there and he ignores most of these
  15. Ha ha ha how funny, thats exactly how Archie sounds 90% of the time and i thought exactly the same thing when he does it!! Sorry i cant comment on anything else but i have not had a baby so i have not got a clue

  17. Awwww he is really cute, thanks for sharing
  18. Iam glad i posted this now , i will deffinatly follow your advice on this as it is not something i want to do bless him, just neck and head scratches now , thank you , i have not seen any feathers from him only those little white fluffy ones, cant remember what they are called now @ willow tree, i saw someone post some where else sexual maturity comes at age 6 , but i was told Archie is only 2 , but i have no deffinate proof of how old he actually is , iam sure someone with more knowledge will tell you

  20. oh ok i shall look into around the time iam going to seriously get a baby, i wouldnt have a clue at the moment with this as i didnt want a baby for my first one so just brought him from an owner who didnt want him anymore ,but thanks for the heads up and making me aware it could be possible
  21. I have seen a few posts with i think judygram telling people to watch out for sexual behaviour and it sounded abit like what Archie does to me but i thought he was just feeding me?? so to make it clear i have just filmed him doing it and see what you think,oh and is that white/bald bit on hes wing ok??it only shows when he is doing this http://www.flickr.com/photos/77628157@N07/6877531116/ It starts with him rubbing his beak all over my fingers and alot of head bobbing, this was taken near the end of it, i went in close to him so you could hear the noises he makes
