  1. No problems with this one yet but it happened to me with another grey forum. The owners bought some program to fix it and so far I can't get on at all. ( Kim
  2. Any pictures? My mini aussie is a red Merle and I love her to pieces. ) Kim
  3. Xandir's hatch date is 2/1. O) Kim
  4. Hi Tyler. What's your babies name? What island do you live on? I don't have my baby yet and I grew up on the island of Maui. ) Kim
  5. Welcome to the group Ryan. I should be bringing my baby boy CAG, Xandir (Zander) home in 3 or 4 weeks. My 16 yr old son and I have 1 dog, 2 cats, and 10 birds not counting Xandir. Kim
  6. I have 2 of the large Vision cages and right now each has a pair of linnies in it. ) The Sun Conure will be tons of fun. ) Kim
  7. WOW! Your welcome. Glad it worked out so well. LOL ) Kim
  8. What a cutie! Glad she's such a big hit and is doing so well. Whats in the Vision cage in the background? Kim
  9. If I were the spouse that was being cheated on I would have kept the bird!! LOL! Kim
  10. Your welcome. ) I've not ordered from them yet but have heard nothing but good things. Kim
  11. I hear nuts.com is a good place to purchase, but I never have. Kim
  12. How cute! What's Charley's hatch date? Kim
  13. I got lucky. I asked my my breeder not to clip Xandir, and she's not going to. ) Kim
  14. That's just what I was trying to say Jay. ) Kim
  15. I have a DNA'd creamino girl IRN. I weaned her and she is a doll. ) Kim
  16. I know the blue is an IRN, did you say the green is an Alexandrian(sp?)? I didn't realize they are so much bigger then the IRN. ) Kim
  17. I'm very new to greys, don't even have mine yet. ) But it seems he should have good memories associated with the cage. Following Dave's advice you should be able to get him past whatever it is that's getting him "excited". (I would think ) Kim
  18. I'm confused. Is the "old cage" the one he was found in, or the first one you bought for him? If you bought it for him why would he have bad memories associated with it? If it's the cage he was found in you might need to replace it, but if it's the first cage you bought for him, I agree with Dave. Kim
  19. This actually made me a little teary eyed. ) How can we get so darn attached to anything, let alone a parrot I don't really even know?? ) When Tina first offered him to me I told her I would be honored to have him, and I still fell the same. He is VERY special to her. Kim
  20. Even if I decide right now that I want him no matter what I couldn't bring him home until after the re-test. So if that test indicates hghi risk for issues down the road then I'll need to wait for another baby. Even though I only met him once, and he wasn't mine then, I find myself very attached to him. He's a very special boy, a real fighter. Tina said the change in him is incredible. Much more active and putting on weight like crazy. ) Kim
  21. That would be a hard decision. The "better" bird is cheaper, but the other one needs help. ( Only you can decide if you can "help" the rescue or not. Meet him and go with how you "feel". It would be very rewarding to help a bird in need. ) Kim
  22. I don't have any idea, but I had to say..... .....that picture is SOOOOOOOO CUTE!! Kim
  23. I'm guessing the key locks are for birds that figure out how to open the door and get out. ) ?? Kim
  24. Is the 2yr old from the breeder a hand fed baby? And still tame today? Kim
  25. When you say "a reasonably priced excellent breeder" you mean a breeder to purchase a baby from right? As far as the rescue goes I agree, go meet him, more then once if you can. Interacting with him should help you decide if you're up to the challenge or not. Kim
