At one point she got even closer and Xandir "said" back off, and she did, lol! Goose also really likes my baby IRN, Caboose, but s/he doesn't like Goose. I'm hoping Goose and Caboose will be friends eventually. ) Kim

Goose is very interested in Xandir and today while we were in my bedroom she decided to go visit him on top of his sleep cage. She was very cautious and Xandir was a very good boy. ) Kim

His breeder called last night while Xandir was on the play stand. I went over to him as I was telling her about the flight. I began to walk away and I heard him flapping his wings then all of a sudden he was on my shoulder. ) It was a flight of about 6 feet. YAY Xandir!! Kim

So I traded them to a breeder. I got Xander in trade for 6 of them. And for the other 4 I just got a baby green male Parrotlet I'm hand feeding but a friend will purchase him from me. Then I'll be getting a baby American White male p'let, and a baby linnie (I want a dilute green), I'll be keeping them. I need to choose one more bird but most likely won't keep it. Kim

I had him on a play stand in the living room today when I was getting ready to feed the baby Parrotlet. He decided he wanted some and flew maybe close to about 10 feet trying to get to me. He landed on the top shelf of a short bookshelf. ) Kim

It's not likely that she has forgotten you, although she might be upset with you for being gone so long. You're going to need to go slow to regain her trust. Basically just start all over again from the beginning, but this time it shouldn't take as long. ) Kim

How old is Oliver? Xandir is a little clumsy and lacking in balance and hasn't really flown yet. He's 17 weeks tomorrow but because of the recalled Kaytee formula he was fed he's behind developmentally. Kim

I also brought home a baby Parrotlet for a friend and both birds traveled really well. ) Xandir is a real sweet and loving bird. It's like he has been here for weeks. Eating and drinking just fine, taking naps, and most importantly want to snuggle. ) Kim

Tina, Xandir's breeder, said that he's late taking flight because of being sick. He did everything late. ) But all this means is that I'll be the one that gets to see him take his first flight ever. ) I'm getting ready to make the 1.5 hr drive to go get him. We're meeting at 1pm and Xandir is coming home!! He's used to traveling so the drive should be uneventful. ;O) Kim
