Yes, i made it i bought some PVC pipes and some needed accessories and started building DJ his first playstand. It does look good, and i am working on finishing it. I hope i can by tomorrow, i will then post some photos. I thought it's easy but it's a lot of work. Every time i feel tired i look at DJ and i say he deserve it. Then i start again. :cool:

They will scream for many reasons, i have been monitoring DJ and Susu for a long time, and i can tell you they will scream when they need food, when they want my company, when they are scared of anything, when we play music loudly or they hear loud noise, when they want to share some food on lunch/dinner time, when they play, and i am sure there are few other reasons that i have not yet experienced. DJ is going through heavy molt but he is not screaming, are you giving Momo a chance to bathe? If yes, how many times? I believe bathing will help a lot during a molt. At the end, i may be wrong and a vet would know much better, it is just my own opinion after all

Well DJ used to scream a month ago, and i used the cage covering trick and it worked perfectly well. I covered the cage every time he screams and remove the cover when he is quite. I kept doing this for 2 days and now he knows that screaming is bad. Ignoring him also helped a little. What i find strange about DJ is that he gets crazy and very stubborn if i say the word "NO"!

DJ doesn't poop in his cage at all, he waits until i open the cage door in the morning and immediately he releases a huge amount of poop! It's always on the floow. At least he is clean lol.

Penny, you are 100% spot on, and i wish to quote one thing you have said and really stress on it: The written word can come across as cold and unfeeling. That's the secret we all need to learn when we join forums. The use of smiley faces in the forums is created to eliminate such issues. Although sometimes like you said, people may be facing some serious personal issues and they may say things that won't make you happy. I learned to ignore these comments and move on. There is no point after all, my life is very precious and i care about every moment left in it. I have learned to live happy and let the others live, but i am no saint also! I do have my ups and downs and i regret things i've done in the past and wish i can go back in time to change them What is life anyway? It can't be happy moments all the time, it's a mix of good and bad times and we have to acknowledge that. What we can do is try and live the happy moments the best we can and hold on to these moments. Take pictures of them, share them with your friends and family. Life is short and we're all getting older everyday and we may as well use it the best we can. This is a classic thread that i have read in many forums before and in my opinion is a MUST read by all

That's great, and sounds cute DJ is learning new stuff frequently and he makes me laugh everyday. It's definitely a blessing having these little friends in our lives. Actually they are more than friends, for me my birds are part of the family and they complete our house. I'm sure everyone here feels the same.

I knew you are a UAE resident and i had a feeling you bought your Grey from Sharjah. I am really sorry that you had to go through this, i've been there before and my heart was broken. There was not much i could do. After Twix passing away, i had to do some research on Sharjah bird market. I came to know they don't really care much about birds health or their living condition. The lack of care made diseases spread in between birds. All they care about is making quick money by selling the birds cheaper than the reputed pet stores. That's very sad but it does happen in many countries around the world. Don't feel bad and it's not your fault. Moral of the story "Never buy anything from that market" and i mean nothing at all (Food, toys,....etc), there is a shop inside Dragon Mart that sells everything but not food. I buy DJs food online (http://dubaipetfood.com). There are few good avian vets in the UAE and i can tell you they are expensive. Owning a GREY is expensive anyway, and be prepared to spend serious cash at least in the beginning. I can arrange a new healthy CAG through a local breeder i know. Then you will have to take the bird to an avian vet for health check and he may give him an injection just like he did with my DJ. The cage you have at the moment may be contaminated with a virus (MAYBE). It has to be washed with vinegar along with a bird-safe disinfectant, then should be left in the sun for a day. I saw it in the photo and i think it's little small for a CAG. If you need help with anything at all, please let me know. Sorry for your loss again.

This is insane! I wouldn't under any circumstances accept this if i were in your shoes. Speak up and take control of your life, take some serious action. If i can't deal with my neighbors then i will find a new place and move out. My life always comes first.

You are paying the money and you should get the baby you want, not the baby they want to sell you. If you are not happy with the baby from the start, what will happen when you take him home? This is just my own opinion.

I saw it posted in one of the 4x4 forums i am with and was posted under "Daily WIN" thread. I told them it's a complete fail and that poor Cockatoo has died for sure. Look at the last photo, he was trying to breath but the chocolate has blocked any chance of air getting in there. I am really sad and upset, some people should never be aloud to have pets.
