I've heard that from the spouse before. : roll eyes :
The kids were just joking about teaching the bird that last night... "Mom!" "Mom!" "Mom!" "What?!" Just to drive me crazy.
Mine hangs out by the food bowl as well, when she sees me come over. I wait & tell her that she has to get off and then I quickly remove the food bowl.
I have to lock the access door EVERY time because she does know how to get out.
Tias, how many different types have you tried? Many manufacturers will send you samples. Our avian vet gave us samples to take home. Don't give up, just keep trying different things.
Does your avian vet board birds? Or a local bird store?
I'm not surprised about the laws in India. I would think most places would require any animals to be quarantined.
Thanks Birdhouse!
What I've been doing is giving my girl oatmeal in the morning, a variety of grains in the evening, and some type of veggie midmorning/midafternoon and after dinner. (In addition to the pellets that are always in the cage.)
Okay, I must be stoopid, but I don't really know what the difference is. I hear them referenced all the time.
Is mash just warm, soft food & is chop chopped up fresh veggies?
If you make these, care to share what you put in them?
Thanks! Still learning here.
Doug, have you taken her to an avian vet yet?
We asked ours about the cockatiel sneezing. He said that there was no concern, the tiel was just cleaning out its nasal passages.
Is Ellie still being treated? Is there any drainage?
