Good luck with getting the ransom money, this baby need a good home from the sound of it. I can't figure out, people are willing to pay these high prices for a bird, but not a clue on how to take care of them. No research or nothing I just don't understand it. If you want to through large sums of money away, I'll take it. I always heard from several pet doctors that a grey will do better if kept in a smaller cage for the first year, but I do believe a love bird cage would be a bit small for a grey.

I love the way that looks. Now that I saw it, I may get one for Val as well. I always thought the back pack were a little high priced and with a little chewing they could be out and gone.

I feel so bad for you Jingles. Rocco would have been 7 July 2 this year. Yes, I agree birds have feelings. I also believe they have the biggest love, my Val will happily whistle ever morning when she see's me come through the house. The b/g will bounce around when I enter his room, and Roy tells me hello. They get so excited to see me after the nap or if I go out for a while. When I hold them I can feel their love. All 3 have a different way of showing it, all different personalities. They care and do have feelings. Your pain will ease, it just takes time. Good luck, and everything will be ok

They can be silly that is for sure. The way they communicate is totally unreal at times. I have to say I prefer Val's way of getting my attention over my Macaws.

Now, When I try to get Val off her cage, Play top or her gym and tell her its time to go nite nite, She starts snoring after turning her back to me. The little stinker.

OMG the burping sound is so funny. I think Val will pick up the choo choo sound soon, because my son is always playing choo choo. Who knows what they will come up with?

She sure does make her point very well most of the time. If you can't figure out what she wants, she keeps it up until you do.

The video's were so sad, but thankfully, someone found them before they all died. This is upsetting to me. Sorry, I didn't read all the blog, but I will. Just I have to get in the bed, can barely hold my eyes open. It has been a rough weekend for me. How can people do this to the babies? I just don't understand. The dirty water, drives me nuts in my cages, and some days, seems all I can get done is clean the water dishes, but I could never imagine what I just saw. No wonder these poor things were in bad health. I am glad you shared that but kind of wish you hadn't. If that makes any since. I am going to donate as well. These precious babies need our love and support.
