He is guilty! He did this in an hour while I was napping, little terd!!! I prob wont even fix the trim cause hes gonna just do it again!

You can get a Tag, Cag, Cockatiel, Parekeet, Lovebird, McCaw, Robin, Blue Jay, or even a Hummingbird.....just get a bird you feel good about and all will be ok.............Some birds cuddle, talk, look cool and some dont! Ha hahahaha I just got lucky with my TAG cause me and him hit it off pretty good, and now he will prob outlive me!

Timmy's color and feathers look ALOT better since hes been outside with us for the past 3 weekends....sunlight is the trick! He seems more mellow and loves to chill on the outdoor perch on the patio while we are playing with kids in the yard or doing yardwork.

my vet carged me $20, but I have 2 dogs and 2 other birds and have known him a long time so he is gentle on the pocketbok if its a quick visit. bloodwork and and procedures is where the bill can really add up!

Well, Timmy is back from vet and is good to go! He weighed 303grams and vet said he couldnt be better. He did have 4 damaged feathers plucked from his wings cause vet was scared they wuold break...this was due the poor clip job over 6 months ago by previous owners. Timmy is MAD at me and was happy to get back home, haha!

I've been on, just ain't posted much, kids and work keeping me SLAMMED!

Well, Timmy is healthy as can be but he has his first vet visit tomorrow. I'll let yall know how it goes!

the camera by the way is a Canon digital Rebel with a 75-300mm lens with macro someting or another, i aint camera smart.

I wasnt close, at least 10 feet away, just a good camera with a big lens!

for some reason he yawns nonstop everytime a camera comes around lately...no sound, just a big looooonnng yawn...go figure! I forgot to post this too: when i say "gimmie a kiss" and put him close he makes the "kiss" sound, real loud! Im happy that he knows what to do upon command! Its only gonna get better, I LOVE the little guy!

i bought my house from the family when my grandma passed away and they maintained over 100 houses for martins but trees and brush took over the coloines. I have cleared trees, re-set poles, and cleaned/painted gourds & houses. It has been 7 years since martins have been here but hopefully this in the next few weeks I will have a MASSIVE colony right here in my yard! it is my first try, but the martins are in town for sure so lets hope some will take to my yard so me and timmy can watch! i will keep yall posted!

The base is actually an old piece of laminate countertop (fermica). Easy to clean and easy to get at a yard sale or home improvement clearance rack for a buck or two!

My best advice is to go thru these forums and READ, READ, READ!!!! I wish I had dont it, would have saved me alot of greif! These guys r awesome, and there is alot of knowledge here, so read, research, and ask away!! Your Grey is gonna have a smooth transition and u wont regret it, just take it SLOW AND EASY!
