I loved the video of Salsa.

Cricket also loves to climb up to my shoulder and get real close to my head and make little sounds of content into my ear. She will also sit on my shoulder for hours at a time and we will jibber jabber back and forth and just enjoy each others company. I will try and locate some of the pictures of us together.

She is telling you she wants a bigger chunk of your time.

Give your new companion a chance to settle in to his new home. This is all new to him. Sit by his cage and talk to him or sing to him. My birds like to be read to. Offer treats to him when you walk by his cage and soon when you come by him he will look for you and a treat.

I know all about that breeder door thing, the food door thing and the water door thing. Corky is on cage 3 because of that. One cage had a anti parrot latch on it , bur that did not stop her.

The only thing that does not belong to Corky is the mortgage.

Dan I know where you are coming from. I also have a ill wife and I feel like I am walking on the edge, but we just keep hanging in there.

In Corkys 12 years she has had 3 cages, 2 were up grades and 2 different travel cages. She has no trouble going into a new cage.

Sounds like Raven has excepted you. Now she has you and your wife.

I have the same thought about our birds and about our other pets to. We have a number of friends that would take our birds, but they will never get them. We are still working on that issue.
