Cricket is my rehomed amazon a blue front and has been with us for two years and 10 months and she is about 15 years old and Corky my cag has been with us all her life and she will be eleven in Dec. They both get along very well and I think like you that my zon and grey were switch at bieth. Corky my cag acts more like a zon and Cricket acts more like a grey. Sounds like things are going well for your two and I think it will stay that way

  4. We have a mix when it comes to rehome parrots and new parrots and they all turned out great. Our blue fronted amazon that we rehomed has turned out to be the sweetest bird ever and I did not expect that.

  9. My Corky is a girl and she can be a real pain. And when she is done being a pain she will look at you and make your heart melt
  10. Hi Janet it looks like Sterling is the one that will turn your hair all white and that may be the congo in him. Croky can get into more crap than all of my other birds put together. And than when she is done she will look at you like did I do that and go on to her next adventure as you try to get over her last heart stopper. He is going to be a real joy.

I had Corky my CAG from 9 weeks old and when she was 7 we rehomed a 11 year blue frond amazon and over time with supervised time out of their cage they do very well when out together and kind off do their own thing. It`s been 2 yrers and 10 months that Cricket has been with us and things are going very well with the two of them

Hi Stevie and welcome to thr grey forum It`s sounds like you have a good start with Jess and I know you will do ok with Jess, Along with my grey Corky I also have a rehomed zon a blue front named Cricket and two cockatiels Willie and Little one. The members here are great and will help you all they can.

  16. Hi leannef I beleave what you see is a form of blushing. From what I have read is this is more common in macaws, but many other parrots do it also. It can come from embarassment, stress, lovestruck. Many of the same things as a human when they blush. Other members will chime in on this. P..S. Welcome to the forum and tell us about your new friend like name age cag or tag and we love pictures. Check in to the welcome and intro room.

  21. They know how to get under your skin don`t they. Corky will do the same thing when we try to nap, but she will quiet down and let us nap.

    Tiels may be small, but they are big in personality. To this day even with my grey and zon I still love my tiels.
