The World Parrot Refuge has applied for a grant from Pepsi Canada in the Pepsi Refresh Everything program. The grant is for $25,000 and will go towards food for the parrots, and we need YOUR help to win it! It costs $4,600 a month for seeds and nuts alone to feed the 800+ parrots now at the refuge. As you can imagine, receiving this grant would be a wonderful help to the World Parrot Refuge in 2011. When George was that age he used to play around the cage very roughly and broke loads of his tail feathers... i was like you i didn't know what to do but eventually a year later new ones started to grow and pushed the old tail stumps out and now he has the most fab tail!!!! and he's not as clumsy so doesn't break them now...

Ah that makes sense so Was wondering there for a min. lol Mine is the smallest one on the right... She is missing d small back to as the mother attacked her in the nest... My breeder had a camera in the nest so got her out in time

Hi all I know it's been a while since I have been on the forum so I'll look forwards to catching up with you all again I have just bought another African grey who will be ready at the end of the month She's a female. Can't wait!!! So a few questions... 1. What are the possibility's of George (1 and a half male) getting on with her? 2. If they bond really well will they lose interest in me ( or humans in general)?
