in our house, we go on 'bird poo hunts and not easter egg hunts!!! LOL... Vinegar takes it right off of wood or non carpet flooring or whatever isn't fabric...counters, all that stuff. If it's on the carpet, I will usually wait until it's dry and pick it off. Then, when the bird is not around, i use a carpet cleaner... (he doesn't come out until it's dry!) A blanket goes on the back of chair that Jasper can destroy and poo on...it goes in the wash if company comes over!

totally agree with Ray! And, if something is wrong with the crop swab, you'll be glad you did and figure out that reason...if it comes back ok, you'll be glad you did because you can rule that out...

thanks! I also use vinegar... everywhere! even on my hair (i rinse it well afterward and no smell) - my hair is really soft - and now the smell doesn't bother me. But i'll tell you what does! I can not stand the smell of cleaning products! It burns...walking into the cleaning aisle at the store, i almost have to hold my nose because the smell is overwhelming!

I also say wait! (Even though it's HARD!) We waited too. When we got Jasper, he wasn't ready to come home yet and when he was ready a week later we were going to go out of town for over a week. So, I asked if they could keep him until the week after we got back. They had no problem with it.... It worked out great! I had to wait longer, but it worked out beautifully and I really wouldn't do another way!
