hey!!! I just 'had' to get in on this...late huh? lol I have 2 cats, a ragdoll, vincent (we call him vinny) and domestic long hair simba. Simba cares less about anything and everyone. He is about 14 years old though. He simply ignores the birds. My ragdoll on the other hand. We have to keep a extra CLOSE eye on him. I can just see it in his eyes! I'm sorry that, that stupid breeder went back on your kitten. That's stupid. But I'm glad you found your kitty. Fluffy is just to adorable!

he looks GREAT! One question, because I know nothing about (what kind of parrot? sorry...) will his face feathers always be black and red?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I LOVE that headless parrot shot! I am not looking forward to the molting phase! But oh boy, if they get more clumsy we're in for some trouble!

ADORABLE!!! I didn't read through the rest of the posts...but here is my experience on cages. We bought one. Then we talked to the breeder and she said that the one Jasper was in was on sale. A lot bigger and only $20 more! UGH! Jax (our lory) has one similar to yours... and I wish I had done things a bit differently. Jasper has his cage in his sleeping room and we have a T-stand in the living room. I love this arrangement much better. But Jax's works too.

What's a atom? It is so darn cute when Jasper flies to me. I love it...BUT I have to pick him up and tell him 'no stay on your playstand/cage' I'm sure if he flew down every 5 minutes it would so not be cute anymore.

Ok, here's how it works. (hope this is 'new' to everyone! lol...if not, forgive me, I'm still new to this site!) Post a famous line in a movie. Then see if other people can name that movie. Example: No one puts baby in a corner. Dirty Dancing! I'll start: I'll have what she's having!

I tried to take a picture on Sunday when I did all the changes. I still love it. then yesterday I was so sick. I'll take one tonight!

Thanks guys! THose are great tips. We had to go to office max and so I looked...well, I found a covering that looked like hardwood floor. It was a bit expensive... but that's ok, Jax's cage is in the living room...I'll try to post pictures tomorrow of how it all turned out!

You guys are hilarious!!!! I...however, was backing out of the garage, bumped the car behind me (I had to crank the wheel left to avoid hitting the car - every time I backed out)pulled forward to access the damage (none) and then proceeded to hit the garage!

Hum...yea, ok...that makes a lot of sense!!! I was very hesitant about it! you guys brought up a lot of good points! I think I'll get the plastic mats (one for the floor and one for the wall (haha - maybe not the wall!) that seems cheaper than what I was thinking! Thanks guys!
