I am missing three keys and have a hole in another just from Java, I can only imagine what is going to happen with the two of them work in tandem. I like Dan's idea of getting them each a bucket of old keys from cast off keyboards. Maybe it will help if I run and wave my arms in a dither when they get in the bucket, it seems to be what makes Java practice her wicked chuckle. Uh oh Alfie, you are pressing your luck!

Awww, Yoshi is a cuddle bug. That is so sweet. The tail feather pattern is beautiful. I thought it would be a dramatic change when they molt for the first time. Yoshi is darling and I love reading about her. Thanks for your contributions to the forum.

That Beau is such a good sport. So far, my two are confined to cages during quarantine for the most part. They both whistle to the dogs a lot, and toss down tidbits. I think they are attempting to win the dogs over to teach them to unlock the cages.

Earl the budding artist. He is fearless with color, I need to take lessons from him! That looks like you were both having a lot of fun. Congratulations for thinking of the health aspects but for continuing on with the mess he must have made too. I love how he looks holding the paintbrush

Lyn she is so funny. I loved it when she told you uh oh. She just acts so pleased with herself that she can be vexing to you.

Those pictures are going to be lovely in a baby series for the new homes. You and your wife are so good to them. Just a couple of days ago, I was watching them and all they had were a little row of red pinfeathers and today it looks like their little red tailfeathers are an inch long. They grow so fast on the outside but are still little babies for a long time to come. Thanks for showing us their first full drenching. What beautiful babies.

Dan, it took me a second dropping to figure out where you were coming from, LOL. Very imaginative.

What a happy birthday to Megan, I made my whole family stop what they were doing to come take a look. Of course now my dogs and birds want some of the same on their birthdays. The picture of Megan with her mouth open looks like she is exclaiming with delight at having free reign at the birthday buffet.

I couldn't let Bernie be laughed at all by himself. My friend and I were hysterical with laughter when we took pics with the phone camera and sent them to our husbands and told them that is how we anchored the bed frame to the roof. Our husbands just smile, shake their heads and go back to work. LOL.

Thanks for taking more pictures of these little greys. He knows he is a star! Someone is going to be very lucky to take one of these beautiful babies, they have had a world class start in life. Thanks for letting us in to see how baby greys are tended and cared for by the parent birds and by a caring breeder.

Whats his name Bernie? MIL is resorting to bribery to keep the door open? I love the picture where Tiggs and Tevish are looking at the little intruder and trying to figure out what gives. He is adorable.

Thanks for the assessment Dan, I do agree with you. My brain tells me that I have my hands full with one bird new to our home, but my heart says to look after Brother 3 as well. It is raining and dark here today so I put an Ott full spectrum light on Juno and he is sunning, stretching toward it, preening and just way more active than he has been in general.
-
Bernie you are a bad influence. I'll take the next photo on the motorcycle when it quits raining.

Haha Lyn, I wonder if those Pteradactyl sightings are the lost greys that flew away from home and are out celebrating and making merry. It does look like pure enjoyment and wild excitement when Alfie is doing her thing.

Be careful Jill! There is an old saying that you become like those you are around. So, either Harvey will claim he was brilliant until he kept company with you... or you will stop saying Harvey is dense and we will believe it is so... and that you have joined him. LOL. Sympathy is not my forte... but I can give it a try... poor Harvey. How was that? LOL.

Aren't they just clever? Your wife is going to step it up to be even more clever with locking down his dish without using her own fingers... LOL. Either that or she teach Koko to use the dish mop to clean up his own mess.

That is a great shot of his first time on a wonderful new toy. He looks a little uncertain, but in time this will be a favorite hang out.

Weeks ago Brother 3 had a distended crop, was taken immediately to the vet where they tried a couple of things first, then did an endoscope. There was some sort of obstruction, then he was put on antibiotics. It does not appear there are any long range problems, it just changed his personality to be pulled out and left at the vet's while he was so desperately ill. I don't have to make any decision in a hurry. I will see him in a couple of weeks when he is left by himself and see how he responds to me again. Ann is a good breeder and I know she will not let anything bad happen to him, I just wonder if it would benefit him to be with Juno.<br><br>Post edited by: katana600, at: 2009/11/22 14:23

We were taking furniture from my friend's house in Virginia to her grandchildren in Texas. The bed frame on top was rattling, so I climbed up there to fix it and took the pic to show her husband how it was anchored down.

Be kind to yourself and take the extra time to rest a bit when you think you are feeling better. It is good to know Dorian and your dad are cared for and supportive to you. Whatever you do, don't let your dad read the forum that described him as elderly... LOL. Come to think of it, I should read my kid's forums and facebook. LOL. My best to you as you recover completely.

That coy little Alfie can have a wild time can't she? When I played it back a couple of times, both my birds went wild with talking back to her.
-
She looks like an angel and I am guessing she thinks she is in heaven with all the interaction and freedom she has with you. What a beautiful addition to your flock.
-
Guapo is awesome to me too and he is beautiful. Congratulations on your new baby even if he isn't a little fledgling. Sending along my best wishes for a full and happy life with your family.

Today I spoke with Juno's breeder and brother two is leaving for his new home in a couple of weeks. Brother 3 has had some setbacks and she doesn't think he is going to get a home. After all the health issues he lunges at people and has been biting. The day Juno came home, I held brother 3 and he let me practice giving him formula and he didn't try to bite me. If anyone has experience of bringing siblings home, I would really like some feedback as to the thought of taking him in too. It would obviously have to be the right thing for Juno first, but I am really giving it some thought.

I had to come back to this thread once again to laugh some more. Last night, for no apparent reason I burst into laughter, and came to take another look. Then, I woke early this morning, still laughing. I promise to get a picture up there for you too Bernie.
