  1. Thank you, what beautiful babies....Do yo have some story's you can share with us? Thanks Jayd
  2. Hi, your vet can do a test to see if the plucking stems from a medical reason or psychological one.I'm surprised it wasn't done!!!Any plucking issue takes a while to resolve. Use your Aloe Ver juice and baths. Jayd

    Stress Marks

Never to many questions, Yes there caused by stress or poor nutrition! When a bird molts it needs extra protein! I'll have to check to see if there's a way to tell a time line. Check any feathers that come out, maybe increase the protein intake, maybe a little chicken/turkey breast, tuna/salmon, drumstick. Your doing good...Jayd
  4. Thanks, the biggest loser is the one I showed you before, I use it. Thanks Jayd
  5. In a week or more, they'll start sleeping on their perch, sometimes with one leg lifted. All of a sudden one day, Spock threw his blanket out of the cage, that was it. Their growing up Mama. Jayd
  6. Those wood wheels Joey would luv, his favorite, Nice perch Murphy.......................
  7. Sorry, was off-line having dinner, that's great, next time feed them 60cc's, solid food is different than formula, just watch their crop! The amount of water their drinking is fine. I bet their cute on their blankie...Good night Jayd
  8. That, fantastic, Luv ya for the care your giving the Twins Jayd
  9. I'm really sorry this has happened to you. As a future note, anytime a person get a rescue or re-home, the person releasing the bird loses all rights, the worst thing for a re-home or rescue is to reminisce. I hope you contacted the police and a attorney ASAP.......Jayd
  10. All I'm going to say is thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!! Jayd,Maggie, Spock and the flock, with a special thanks from our rescues!!!!!!
  11. I'm sorry Tanya, the scale needs to read in Grams, , I'm so sorry, I know how hard your trying, and your doing real good, I tell every one I know how good [and scared] you are doing. Don't ever give up!!!!Jayd

  13. Judy said it all. Her advice is gold...Time is the Key........Happy to you.....Jayd, Maggie, Spock and the Flock.......
  14. Hi, .5 and .6 kilograms equal 500 and 600 grams, this is way to much, that would be the weight of a large adult Grey. Could it be pounds instead of kilograms? if so than they would be 226+ grams and 272+ grams which is OK!!!!!. Now, can you do this every morning after there big poop and before they eat, so I can see how their doing? Thanks Tanya.......Jayd.
  15. 20. Thank you so much!!! Jayd

  21. Thank you Dave and Dan so very much. Many different people have given you similar suggestion's, these are some of the most knowledgeable people concerning Grey's there is! One in common, a vet check! Were here for you. Jayd
  22. Don't worry about white feather, they lose them all year, I'm really sorry no one can begin to answer your weight question until we know the weight in grams, you should be weighing daily. Walmart sells a digatal scale for $20.00. Whats more important is the weight constant? With no scale, we don't know!!! Now, this work's, get some organic or natural peanut butter, it has palm oil in it, Skippy's, Laura Scudder's, Smith/Krogers etc, give 1/2 teaspoon twice a day, if the baby won't eat it off a spoon, put it on a small piece of wheat bread,[small] or pasta......Jayd
  23. Are the feathers your finding white? you baby looks really good, good color to the tail, no strees marks that I can see. Looks like there might be a little over preening! I see a little fat on breasts, looks good! The only peanuts you can safely give your bird is roasted shelled peanuts...As a side note, foods with fake coloring isn't the best for our baby's. There's a number of thread about Peanuts on the forum. Remember, a bird food maker's main interest is making money! peanuts and sunflower seeds are cheap...Jayd
  24. One big problem I see right away, Shelled peanuts, never give your parrot them.....http://www.greyforums.net/forums/showthread.php?115338-ASPERGILLOSIS Please read jayd
  25. The poop should have 3 components, 1, solid gree/brn string, Feces, 2 White paste, urate, 3 water, urine. due to the fact the baby is on formula there will be more water. Food, fruit increases the amount of water, cut down fruit to 1 small piece a day. Your formula can be to thin! make it a little thicker. You can try Ozro pasta, cooked well. please keep a close check on this, keep weighing each morning after the big poop. jayd
