I tried this today and both pionus and african grey gave these 2 talons up! A parrot owner on another site shared her recipe. Instead of corn flakes.. I used grated coconut and finely slivered almonds. Instead of the diced apple I added pomegranate pips.
It was a very big hit!
1 large sweet potato baked until soft
1/2 cup raisins
1 small banana
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables thawed
1 cup diced apple
1 1/2 cups corn flakes
1. In food processor, puree sweet potato, banana, apple and mixed vegetables. When smooth, add corn flakes and puree until smooth again.
2. Stir in raisins with wooden spoon.
3. Roll into small balls and freeze.
They will keep about 6 months in the freezer. Defrost to serve.
I agree that having 2 greys would be alot for me to juggle. I am also concerned that my existing parrots would get the shorter end of the stick which really is not fair to them.
Any type of "glove" will definitely not foster trust or confidence. Trust and confidence needs to be earned first and that takes alot of time, patience, gentle persistance and consistent behaviour on your end.
Definitely please don't use any type of wood shavings or corncob bedding. These things also absorb alot of bacteria.
Perhaps consider going to your local public library and asking if they can give you their old newspapers.
It's called the Polly Eco Perch!
They seem very comfortable and have little ridges all around. I strongly recommend this perch and am very satisfied with the results when it comes to nail trimming.. Haven't cleaned them yet.. but doubt I will ever have too. I place this perch by their water dish.
Emma has a Large sized one and Sachi a Medium sized one.

{Feel-good-00020114}You are correct. I went on the Harrisons site and it is recommended to feed the High potency pellets ALL year round. The Pepper coarse is good for variety but mostly recommended to other medium type parrots like Macaws. I will stick to the High potency ones since I already add cayenne pepper to her homemade birdie mash.
I always shower my parrots in warmish to cool water all year round. In the winter I make sure the heat is on at a comfortable temperature and that there are no drafts. I usually place them in a sunny room after their showers. I try to shower them twice a week.
