  1. This is a great thread. I luv all the stories. Terri, kudos to you for keeping your cool. I don't think I want that much luv from Ana Grey though!!!!
  2. Ana Grey has a stuffed monkey she loves to punch around. Just be sure the eyes and other ornaments won't come off, the eyes are stitches on Ana's monkey, and that the stuffing is not the little beans or plastic beads some stuffed animals are filled with.
  3. Thanks all, and Penny kudos to your nephew Jason for his great work. Anthony is the same way, he says what he and his friends did was only what anyone would do in the same situation. I am very proud!!!
  4. I think we need a Brag Thread to announce any great or marvelous or just interesting things that happen in our lives so here goes........ So many times our young people are only noted or remembered when they do something wrong according to our adult world. So when a young person does a heroic thing they should be noted for it. I am going to brag about my 19 year-old grandson and his two friends. On February 9th Anthony and his two friends, Nicole (19) and Marissa (20), saved a life. As they were hiking at Dougan Falls in Skamania County, Washington, they found a cross-country skier who had been badly beaten. They had no cell service so they hiked to the nearest home and got the owner to call authorities. The 52 year-old man was beaten for his vehicle and left for dead. Authorities say that if my grandson and his two friends had not found the beaten skier and gotten help he would have died. The skier was hypothermic after laying on the frigid ground for almost five hours. It had just started to snow when paramedics arrived. After three days in the hospital, the skier, Mr. Tracey, was able to help an artist prepare sketches of the assailants but they are still at large with his vehicle. Mr. Tracey knows how lucky he was as Anthony and his friends normally do not take that particular route when hiking. Just fate that they went that way that day. I am so proud of the grandson I raised! Anthony is an Eagle Scout, plays the French Horn and has played in Korea with his college orchestra, and he makes computers for himself and his friends. He is an avid computer gamer. The newspaper and tv stations called Anthony a hero, I call him my grandson.
  5. Your new grey is a fine looking CAG. I agree, you need to give her a little time to relax and feel safe. She needs to feel that she as found her forever home and when she does, she will talk. Thanks for sharing this lovely grey with us.

  14. Congratulations on your new baby Marley. I have had my baby grey, Ana Grey, for a couple of months and like Marley she has always been confident and unafraid. I agree with others, it is due to the love of a great breeder for her babies that give you such a confident and unafraid grey. Enjoy it. Pictures please!!!

  21. Hi Sophie'sChoice, welcome to the family. How old is Sophie and how long have you had her? We love to hear the details about all the family's FIDs. If you have any pictures we would love to see them. Can't wait to hear more about you and Sophie!
  22. Rachel, great pictures of Kharsen. Thanks for sharing!!! I just love the baby greys!!!
  23. Hi Beco, you have a great sense of humor and a great introduction. How old is Cocco? I am assuming his prior owner was a female, if so that might be why he has a preference to the ladies. However, it sounds like you are finally getting on his good side so I would just be patient and continue to interact as you have been. And as others have said, treats and favorite foods would probably help endear you to him. With Mom gone for a couple of weeks I believe you will have a great opportunity to gain Cocco's trust. Of course, if all else fails--how do you look in Mom's favorite dress??? And how do you feel about a little lipstick and rouge, maybe some eyeliner????:silly: :whistle:
  24. Congratulations on getting your baby home today, what a very special Valentine Day present. Can't wait to see some pictures!!! What have you decided to name your baby girl???
