  1. Hi Fisher so glad you decided to join us. Congratulations on your new grey, is it a CAG or a TAG? We so love to see pictures so if you have any to share we would love to see them. There is a world of information here so look around and ask all the questions you want. We will do our very best to help you. Welcome to the family!!!!
  2. Wow, what great news. I'm sure he will be using more words soon. His repeating Hello is just testing it out. Just encourage him. There is so much more yet to come!!!
  3. Confidence, Ana Grey is very sure of herself. If she wants to go to her cage, she just hops off of her playstand in the living room or kitchen and waddles off to her cage in the office, climbs in and goes about her business.
  4. What a great looking bird room. I love it all. Your fids are so very lucky. Thanks for sharing your creativeness with us.
  5. Jacqueline, I am so sorry about Mr. Congo. But you will find your very own grey. Just keep looking, your grey is out there just waiting for you to find him!!! Please keep us posted about your search. You are now part of the family!!!
  6. Bella is absolutely gorgeous and Alex is certainly a very handsome young man. No wonder Bella loves him! Thanks for sharing your baby grey with us!!!!
  7. Mary, I pray Lacey will be alright and home safely very soon.
  8. Mary, I am so sorry. Bundles of good thoughts and heartfelt prayers go out to Lacey for a quick and complete recovery. Please keep us informed.
  9. Carol, how very clever you are! I love your swing!!!
  10. Such sweet pictures of your new grey caitb. You are so very lucky to be so close to your new baby. Congratulations!!!
  11. Stubborness, if Ana Grey does not want to wear her harness, which is always, she stubbornly moves her head away from me over and over again until I eventually win.
  12. Sidney is very handsome. Love his boing.
  13. I bathe Ana Grey every third day and spray her with Aloe Vera and water on the other two days. I never wash her beak or her "face." She always cleans her beak by rubbing it on the sides of her cage, after she has a drink of water, her perches or whatever she wants. Because I don't want to get water into her ears, I let her take care of her head. I just make sure I give her lots of skritches on her head.
  14. Great idea, I'm going to give Ana Grey and Q-tip or two and see what happens. Thanks for this inexpensive toy!!!!
  15. Thanks for the heads up on the cleaner redkim. I just might give it a try!
  16. I got my copy of Bird Talk yesterday and I always look at the "Watch the Birdie" section first. When I saw the grey and read the caption I wondered if that Mischief was from the forum!!!! How exciting, congratulations to you and to the photogenic Mischief!!! Such true star quality!!!
  17. Another feeling is submission, Ana Grey bends her head down until she is touching whatever she is standing on, whenever she wants a skritch (or tickle as I call it) on the top of her head.
  18. Congratulations on bring Sidney home. I can feel the excitement in your words and they just make me smile, your joy just seeps through. Can't wait to see some pictures of Sidney and Roxy!!!
  19. Ouch Pat, I wonder what Tyco saw you do that she felt you needed to be reprimanded for???? You know I'm just teasing, Pat!!! I truly hope your pinky is much better and you can forgive Tyco's indiscretion. I just love your signature, all those beautiful and so confident birds!!!
  20. Hi karunk, it's great that you have joined the family before you get your grey. There certainly are a lot of knowledgeable grey owners here and their experience is invaluable. I hung around here for a couple of months before I got my grey and I am very grateful for the knowledge they have so graciously bestowed on me. So glad you joined us!!!
  21. Playfulness: Ana Grey loves to sit on her swing and sway back and forth. She also playfully tosses her ball for me to retrieve knowing I will retrieve it again and again.
  22. Hi Scarlett, great introduction. I am assuming Scarlett is the name of your grey. I truly love that name for a female CAG!!! There certainly is a lot of great information in the various threads of the forums. If you can't find an answer, just ask and some of our experienced members will pop right in and help if they can. If you have any pictures of your grey, we would love to see them. Welcome to the family.
  23. Hi Terri, glad you decided to check in with the family. It is always nice to hear what all the members are up to. Hope to hear much more about Cleo and how she is doing. Welcome home!
