I never see my grey drinking either, but I do find bits of pellet or other food in her water bowl. So I know she is drinking, or at least washing her food or beak in her fresh water. Hi kljohnso, congratulations on your new baby grey. I am assuming it is a Congo grey not a Timneh grey. The Congo has a red tail and black beak, and a Timneh a maroon tail and a bone colored beak. Do you have any names in mind? As Judy said it would be great if you could show everyone some pictures. Please keep us posted on your new baby, we so love the babies. Welcome to the family.

My, my Sugarbeth what a great number of goodies for your "almost" grey. I'm laughing because it's the very same thing I did, but I got my cage first. I had the same problem with finding a grey that you are having, there aren't that many for sale in our neck of the woods. If you are interested in a baby timneh, in the spring, PM me and I will give you my breeder's name and number, she lives in Aberdeen, WA and will not ship though, you would have to personally pick up your baby grey. She is a great Timneh breeder. Welcome to the family.
