  1. Very sorry for your loss. What was his name?
  2. Rest in peace Cricket. You will have a great view from up there to keep an eye on Ray.
  3. You will be sorely missed Cricket.
  4. I can't stop crying for sweet Cricket. You were there for her, she waited to see you before she left. What a wonderful friend she is to you and will be forever. Be strong Ray, Cricket will be watching you and waiting for you so make her proud.
  5. The pictures are priceless. Thank you for sharing Pookie's first adventure with us.
  6. Very cute and quite curious. I will enjoy this adventure with you and Rio. Thanks for sharing!!!
  7. Welcome to you and Gabby. Looking forward to learning more about the two of you.
  8. Happy Hatchday Josey!!!! We do not hear enough about you. Have a wonderful day. Remember it's your day and you can do anything you want!!!
  9. I wish Louie would eat "just about anything" but he is very particular. He is also very neat when he eats. He drops very little unlike my greys.
  10. Mine like bells to ring and things to clang. I always have the rooms comfortable for me. If I am comfortable my birds are also. 69 degrees is fine.
  11. Much too cute. Very smart lil' lady.
  12. Great outdoor picture. Louie will lay on his back in the sunshine and sunbath his tummy. He totally love the sunshine.
  13. Hi John, walnuts are fine. My parrots also enjoy unsalted pistachios. If you have any pictures of Alex. we would to love to see them. Welcome to the Grey family!
  14. I will not look, I will not look....... I so want a macaw now!!! What cuties!!!
  15. My parrots are all flighted so I have many perches, boings and toys hanging from my ceilings for them. They also sit on perches/boings in front of windows and corners of my kitchen, etc. They love to follow me around my home and interact with me. It is true that you will not be able to bring your companion back to the USA so perhaps, if you do not have time for him/her you should find a loving home for your birdie. What is your companion's name?
  16. Awesome. When my Lily 13 year old blind pug that I have been the privilege of living with since she was 5 months old moves on, I will be looking for a new pooch. I will be going to Project Pooch, a rehabilitation program pairing dogs with incarcerated juveniles who help the dogs get ready for a new home. Loved the video, Talon.
  17. He seems to be a happy guy. Great pictures. Thanks for sharing your guy with us!
  18. I am going to do a little bragging!!!! Or just a little whoopee maybe. Today, 38 years ago, I got an aortic heart valve replaced and I am still ticking away!!! Yes I tick. I'm am just grateful that I only have one valve replacement there are some who have had two replaced (shutter at that). Changed my whole life as I was born with this defect. So hurrah for me. 38 years and still ticking and very grateful to Dr. Albert Starr, my hero. Some day I'll tell you about how I asked the nurse if it was okay to have some wine for a nightcap the night before the morning of the surgery and she said "okay". Well a bottle later........
  19. My Louie, is he the only male zon here???? Well, he is now 6, I believe that is the "mature" age for zons/parrots. He is still the sweetest and quite guarded parrot I have. I still cannot touch him or even hand him food without a quick lunge but if my 4 year old grandson hands him a treat he is gentle and nice. He just does not trust girls/women. Louie does not show any signs of being sexual. I consider myself lucky that my gang are gentle souls.
  20. Pictures would help, if you have any available.
  21. Hi Sharon, can't wait to learn more about your older grey. What is his name? When you get a chance, pictures would be great. Welcome to the Grey family.
  22. My three are all flighted. Even my canary. I believe our companions are more self-confident if they are allowed to fly. I love the sound of flying wings, priceless.
