Great looking toy! Sachi seems to really be enjoying it!

They all have their little habits. Ana Grey must sleep on her cement perch. As soon as I say nite, nite, she high-tail's it up to the cement perch and settles down for the night. It is the only place she sleeps.

I agree with Jill, you need to have Mikey out with the family so he will know that he is part of the family. Perhaps it would help if others helped with his feeding and treat giving so that he doesn't just focus on you as the care provider. I live alone so my fids know and trust me. However, my grey seems to enjoy being with my 10 year old grandson. Ana Grey will fly to him and likes to "hang" with Gabriel. Our greys pick who they like and enjoy being with so give Mikey a chance to know everyone.

Oh they can all be such little stinkers sometimes! When Ana Grey gets into one of her "I'm the Queen" moods, I just snatch her up and put her where I want her giving her a piece of my mind. She seems to know when I have just had it with her and quickly mellows out. I just love it when she tilts her little head and looks like she is really listening to me. They quickly figure us out and can really pull our chain. You just have to figure out how to keep one step ahead of Harvey!

I remember the great joy I had every time I found one of Ana Grey's clipped feathers on the bottom of her cage. I was ecstatic!!! I still sometimes just smile when I see her flying around the house. I can't wait to see your post when Yoshi finally flies! :lol:

Lucky for me, Ana Grey likes to be up high so she leaves my light cords alone. I have boings, perches and plants hanging from the ceiling in most of my rooms so she always has an acceptable place to light. Good luck with finding the right solution.
