I don't care what she is doing, send her over and I'll deal with this "terrible" problem! :woohoo: My fids could use a little neatness training!!!!! Truthfully, I would love to see this behavior it seem very deliberate and I think it is cleaning house. And perhaps she is hormonal as well.
#1 Confess and take the blame
You are at the mall on Biggest Sale of the Year Day and you find a "loose" sticky sale tag for a 75% discount on the floor do you
1. pick it up and toss it in a waste bin
2. attach it to the 54" big screen TV you have always wanted
3. attach it to the overpriced toy a little boy with holes in his tennis shoes is eying and purchase said toy for the little guy

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2010/03/12 21:01

2. Take it into the bank and fess up. Never found any money like that, but I did find a set of car keys and took them inside and found the owner.
You have a free non-refundable roundtrip first class ticket and hotel reservations for a two week vacation in Hawaii but you have to go alone do you
1. Give the ticket/reservation to someone else
2. Enjoy the single vacation
3. Donate the ticket/reservations to your church raffle
That is great news that Mojo has finally accepted your wife as a trusted person. My Ana Grey is 19-months old and on her own has accepts my 10 year old grandson as a person she trusts. This is quite strange but it is what it is and she flies over to him and talks to him whenever he is over. Perhaps she has chosen Gabriel to be her future owner.
My you are certainly enjoying having Issac around! Can't wait until he finally says a word or two! We might need some smelling salts for you!!!! I remember waiting for Ana Grey to talk, it is so exciting!!! Enjoy!!!!
I was going to be more elaborate on the Imperial Amazon but I forgot it had already been done so I'll find another one! There are oodles of amazon parrots!!!!
Oh what fun Jay, may I choose the The Imperial Amazon, Amazona Imperialis, also known as the Imperial Parrot, Dominican Amazon, August Amazon, or Sisserou?
On the 3rd video Sanggay, it looks like Cocoa would have gone adventuring if she had not been harnessed. It of course gives me pause. I'm glad she was harnessed.
There was an article on the internet about a ladies club in England that knitted sweaters for some local chickens that had lost their feathers. It sounds like a great idea but I agree with others as a sweater would be difficult to get on an older grey and I know my grey would tear a sweater to bits. You have a very thoughtful and loving Mom, you are a lucky guy! Congrats on your new grey Ben, can't wait to see some pictures and hear more about him! Karma to you for re-homing an older grey!
What a wingspread on Hawkins. He has a personality of his own. I would trust your heart and do the right thing for Hawkins if I were you. He is a handsome and spirited little guy, you are so lucky to have found him!
Well congratulations Sanggay on your controlled experiment. It is always interesting to know and try to understand what our grey's will do. I think you are right to know that maybe next time Cocoa might be more adventurous. She could have been just "testing" the waters so to speak. They do seem to want what they want when they want it, without thinking of the consequences. Sounds like any two year old!!!
