You have a date with a nice guy/gal who you know has a big crush on you. Then wonders of wonders a single Brad Pitt/single Angelina Jolie asks you to go to the Academy Awards with him/her and walk down the red carpet. Do you
1. Tell the nice guy/gal you are sick and go to the Academy Awards.
2. Bite the bullet and go on the date with the nice guy/gal.

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2010/03/30 21:04
If my grey does something I don't like I just try to distract her or redirect her attention. When my ekkie shrieks I sing to him. Perhaps if you find something to distract Ash and draw her attention away from making alarm sounds and screaming that might help.
So here are my hoops that are now put together with stainless steel nuts, washers and bolts. I used an awl to punch in the holes. I also used stainless steel eyehook bolts for my ceiling hanger and two on the sides for hopefully holding toys after I get it finished. I still have to use vet wrap or maybe not, I haven't decided. I am stoked I might just make a halfway decent Atom!!!!
I also hung a steel bell in the middle for playing!

Well I have mine put together at least the nuts and bolts are in. Will try to get pictures to show my progress. I thinking i might just be able to do this! Fingers crossed!!!
I also feed my grey Pretty Bird for African Greys. It is what my grey was weaned onto and although I have tried Harrison and others she prefers this brand. I, of course, also feed her various vegetables, rices, beans and fruits throughout the day.
We do have to be on guard at all times! Our greys are so clever and get into things so quickly. I'm glad you were quick and able to set things right quickly!
Have you just asked the lady to give or sell you and your partner the parrot. Just tell her what the grey means to you and how you would love to be able to love and care for this fid for all time. She might like to have a cuddly puppy instead. What is the grey's name by the way?
Love the dinner music Adina!!!!! I've never seem these beans. I guess I'll just have to look harder so Ana Grey can give them a try!!!!

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2010/03/29 00:23
What an unfortunate incident with the crows but as Judy said we all know that you keep things as safe as possible for Cocoa. I envy the fact that Cocoa can fly and enjoy the outdoors so much with almost "free flight." I wish I could do the same for my Ana Grey. Please keep the flight training going and the videos coming. I love them and so does Cocoa and that is what really matters!!! I use the words, "come here" to get Ana Grey to come to me. Out of curiosity, what recall word or phrase do you use to get Cocoa to return to you?
Debbie I hope you find the right addition to your flock. I have a very loving and sweet TAG and I chose her because she was small and supposedly more calm than a CAG. I have not be disappointed. I, of course, have been curious about getting a larger CAG but I am also leaning toward an amazon. So I am always curious about other members addition to their flock. Good luck on your decision!
Nice to hear from you Joey! My but we have a lot of typing greys around here lately!!!!!   If we parronts aren't careful this forum will be overtaken by our greys!!!!!
