  1. Jan, if you will go into your profile and look down the list, you will find "Find All Started Threads" go into that and all the threads you have started are listed.
  2. Adina, I am so glad for you and especially for Emma that she is safe and none-the-worst for wear. When I first saw the post about Emma's pliight I could not believe it. Not our sweet Emma and I cried as if it were my own Ana Grey. Believe me I thanked God for her safe return to you and now have shed tears of joy for the happy ending of her adventure. May you both have a wonderful reunion and have a very happy and well-deserved good night's sleep wrapped in nothing but warmth and pure joy!!!
  3. Great pictures of Zoey and you Lee!!!! I see a great and forever relationship growing here!!! You are both so lucky to have found each other!!!
  4. I for one am delighted for the tie!!!!! Hooray!!! But next time we won't be so easy on them!!!
  5. Much too funny!!!! Thanks for the laugh!!!
  6. How wonderful. Amen to a happy ending!!!!!
  7. What a wonderful and beautiful story about how Zoeie found you!!!! Though the circumstances are sad the outcome is one of joy for Zoeie's prior owner and for you and Zoeie as well. Thank you for sharing your story with us. I look forward to hearing more about Zoeie's and your great adventure together. Zoeie is gorgeous. I am a great fan of Timnehs!
  8. I am so sorry Rierie that Charlie is lost. Charlie won't be flying around in the dark so he is probably very close by. Your husband should come inside and resume his search at sunrise. It is a good idea to put Charlie's cage outside with his favorite treats and food. Perhaps Charlie will see it first thing in the AM and go to it for food. He will be hungry. I don't know what time it is there but if possible call your neighbors so they will be on the lookout for Charlie. Spend your time making posters for posting. I pray that Charlie will be found quickly and returned safely to you. Be strong.
  9. Fourfids is just trying to stir the pot. Laura has been ban from the forum for thirty days and this has gone on long enough!! So this thread should be locked!
  10. Jokes we can make It's easy as baking a cake but good humor is hard to fake New word: Fish
  11. Yes Jay, this should be a closed subject!!! So let it die!!!!
  12. What a joke of a post from the foggy English coast for the US will be making that bubbly toast! New word: book
  13. Okay, now I am going to say something. I am tired of this line of talk. I am the moderator of this Room and I saw this problem thread and frankly blow it off as a problem between a customer and a service provider. I never take anyone's word for anything perhaps because I worked a law office for over twenty years and know everyone has an opinion that they believe is right and unless you have all the facts things can get out of hand with half truths and exaggeration. Talon, one of our administrators has reviewed this problem and ban the user Jacarual for thirty (30) days. As far as I am concerned that should give this topic a cooling off time and if Jacarual would like to come back at the end of the ban period, so be it. If this thread turns ugly I will close it. I for one have an apology for Talon, I should have gone back and looked at the thread again before it got out of hand and closed it before it because such a mess. Penny took the time to investigate this matter and she has rendered a just decision. And I truly trust her judgment.
  14. I am an advocate of spraying your birds who are pluckers. Everyone knows my re-homed ekkie, Sully, who was such a bad plucker his name use to be Butch at the pet store. His feathers where mutilated and his back and stomach were bare. I soak him by spraying him with Aloe Vera Juice (love you Dr. Flock for this great advice) and water and alternate with Feather-In (Thanks again Dr. Flock). Sully is now letting his feathers grow in and I am totally delighted with the great progress he is making. I am hoping that by the anniversary of his 2 year time of living with me he will be fully feathered again, at least as much as possible. So I totally believe that spraying has helped him. There is also a cockatoo, Tango, that I have met that is also being sprayed daily by his owner and his feathers are growing back in beautifully!!
  15. Time for a new game. Someone posts a word: Time Then the next poster composes a poem featuring that word and then leaves a new word. The poem must be at least three lines long. For example: I have the time to write this rhyme and possible make a dime New word: Door
  16. Thanks Sanggay, I love going on Cocoa's outings!!!!! i love that outdoor lantern. It is magnificent!!!
  17. Today is Friday and I must have a drink!!!!! Where is our fearless leader????? Oh well, come on by and I'll pour you a margarita or two and we'll drink.... I mean talk about it!!!!

  19. Nicely said Julie from one mad birdwoman to another!!!!!
  20. What a great introduction Debbie! Welcome to you and Dudley! I suspect you are going to become a fun member of the family!! Nani will fit right in has we also have an Amazon Room for our members who are Amazon parronts!!! So look around, ask any questions you might have and post some pictures of Dudley and Nani if you have any to share. Welcome to the Grey family!!!!
  21. When my ekkie screams or shrieks, I sing to him and he shuts right up!!!! So I think Talon's idea of your hubby whistling is a super idea!!!!
  22. Ahhh to be totally loved by your feathered friend!!! The joy!!!!
  23. Ouch, that certainly can be very painful in the pocket!!!!
  24. To clip or not to clip that is the question. My grey was clipped by her breeder and it took over year for Ana Grey to become flighted again. Ana Grey is fearless and very loving. She flies to me when I call, "come here" and gives me beak touches on my cheek. I totally love it and feel she is much safer flighted as now I don't have to worry about stepping on her and crushing her to death. Ana Grey is very confident and very loving. So my vote is for a flighted bird!!!! That is my personal choice.
