I have weaned George off a seed only diet onto Zupreem FruitBlend ,he will not touch Harrisons at all ! However I cannot get any of the Zupreem for African greys at the min ,due to Northern Parrots saying that Zupreem is undergoing a complete make over and adjustments so it will not be available for at least another month !I have tried various other places to get it from and all are having the same problem ! However I have been assure that the one Zupereem FruitBlend for Amazons is exactly the same but bigger and that this is ok to give to my Grey.Anybody got imput into this and has your grey had the bigger pieces ?

Well the snow has stopped where I live ,but ALL the schools are still shut ,the roads ,trains,buses,planes etc are getting back to normal .The temps are still low and it dose'nt look as though we will get any more snow this week. I got another day off work so will have to get moving and do some boring housework.Hope everybody else is having a good day .

I think you're mind is already made up . I'm really sorry about your relationship break-up . It takes a very special person to understand the love of birds .I know you will make the right decision and will give it all the love it deserves .

We got SNOW And we all come to a standstill ! No train, buses, planes, schools shut, roads shut,power off and on the list goes on ! We only had 6 inches so far but this country canna cope with it ! Had a forced day off work as well and looks likely for tomorrow .Don't seem to have bothered George much ,he just carried on as norm ,wish we all could. Will have to see what tonight brings !:dry:

Its beautiful . I like them they sell them in all the gardening nurseries here in uk. I think tho you would have to have the right place to put them .Unfortunately they would look totally out of place in my house .

I am boarding my bird at an avian vets surgery in August.The vet is a well recognised vet and was up to last year President of the Parrot Society UK .So i am hoping all is going to be well .They have good facilities and play music and have a TV for the birds as well as out of cage time .

Hi everyone .Its Saturday Yippee,the weekend. I am hoping to go back to work on Monday after having a week of due to a torn neck muscle and a trapped nerve. I have booked flights also to go see a friend in Luxembourg on the 16th Feb ,which Im really looking forward to . George is going to be look after by somebody he likes and they are gonna house sit for me ,so a bit of change of routine but Im sure he will adapt.Ive now got him on Zupreem Fruitblend pellets and am now going to introduce Harrisons High potency so maybe he can have a mix of both .Ive had him at the vets for a check and all is ok !Im not gonna do a lot this wekend cause i need my neck to keep healing .Hope your weeekend i sgood Marie & George

I bought my grey home in a travel cage .We had a 6 1/2 drive and he was fine. We made sure the car was not to hot and that he had food and water. My son sat in the back of the car with him and talked to him .He could also see out of the windows .He travelled well and settled in really quickly once we were home .I hope you have a safe journey home

My cage is in centre of a wall and about 3 feet either side of a radiator and a window with the cage in the middle .It seems to be ok with this , sorry canna help much more .

I also have a cat (a very old one) and Im fortunate in that they both seem to ignore each other.She never goes near George's cage and although he does watch her he never seems to want to bother her ,having said that I do watch them both closely .

my grey was called George when I got him and I wanted to change it .I didn't and am so glad cause it really suits him .
