Im sorry for your loss .I to had my Lab 17 years and she was with me through my divorce and was my best friend .It broke my heart so much I swore i would never have another animal yet i went on to have 3 cats and now george !I hope you feel better soon .
Dan im really sorry to hear this news I do hope everything goes ok for you .I lost my labrador to cancer 12 years ago now soio I know what it feels like .My best wishes to you and all and really hope things turn out well
No Rhys has gone to school on advise of doctor and the NHS Direct . They have said that there is nothing theny can now do its impossible to contain so its just if they show sypmtoms inform your GP and keep isolated !! I suppose really if its already in the school the damage is done if he gonna catch it he is and there is not a lot do about it .
The school are doing nothing at all ! They have said if the children show symptons to contact our GP but until then they are to go to school and carry on doing everything as normal !!!
My son came home today with a letter to say 2 kids in his year (there are 150) have been comfirmed with swine flu ! no action is gonna be taken (they are recieving treatment) and everything is carrying on as normal !

Post edited by: Poppy, at: 2009/07/07 19:54
its about 7-40 here and cause were facing south the sun is up and roasting us already ! the doors windows are open and awnings are up .The rain just seems to skirt roung us for some reason ! would love some just to cool down ! I went out yesterday to a speedway meeting and from 4-00pm to 6-30 i got slightly burnt !
Its showing 39 in my garden !! but then its a sun trap being south facing. I just wish it would either have a storm to clear the air or cool a bit .Could not tell you when we last had rain .Its a bit to hot for george as well and he is a wee bit grumpy !
I think as shelia says its your decison and yours alone ,but im in agreement with shelia I think I would leave them with your brother as you say you can still visit and check and things might turnaround that some day you can have them back with you .Best wishes in your decison
George does not got 10-12 hrs straight through .He seems to set his own cycle and as I work during the day he seems to catch up then .Up to date he has never been cranky or seems to be sleep deprieved .
