Dan ,I'm so glad this situation had a happy ending and not the one it could have been .I have a cat and although she takes no notice of George ,HE takes very good notice of her and I'm sure one day he will go for her cause he goes in to attack stance whenever she is near ,so I watch like a hawk .Many thanks for this warning .

I never watch any soaps and never have.I very rarely watch TV ,I prefer to have music playing in the background whilst I'm doing other things.

I laughed so much watching this video ,cause my cage has got a lock on like that and george is always playing with it !! So will have to keep a very careful eye on it from now on !

Well after all I have said we got SNOW !!!!!!v Only about 2 inches but we all covered up Kids love it as well cause its their first day back at school today, after the xmas break and I'm also back into my normal rotuine (sorta) cause still got my parents here till the 11th !Have made an appointment at the vets for George on Tuesday to have his claws clipped cause im fed up with looking like I'm harming myself ! This should be the only time it has to be done cause he has now got the required perches in his cage !He will also have a check done cause I dont know if he has ever been to a vet so it wont hurt ! Think it will hurt me more than him ! Anyways a way to work I go and catch you all laters .

In mine I have 1 CAG - George 1 Siver Grey Tabby - Sony 210 Litre Tropical Fish Tank Oh and my sons 2 Goldfish !!

My bird hates the top open on his ,he really flips when I try once or twice so never open it now.When im around his cage door is always open , so the the only way he knows to get in and out is via the main door.He loves just to perch on the top and watch whats going on .

I have a cat ,she is old and both her and George don't seem to mind each other .They seem to ignore each other .

George is in the family room as well and really enjoys seeing whats going on .He can get noisey but its all over quite quickly.

George has got a cage very similar to this and is quite happy in it !However he will not have the top open at all .he loves to get out of his cage and just sit on the top ! My cage is in the black vein which I like the look of . Hope this helps Marie

I really panicked a month or so ago cause my grey George did exactly this .Fortunately it was not and all his feathers have now regrown.But I know how scary this can be especially has I inly had George a month or so . I hope all is well .
