This has broke on the main news today .Its been on all the radio stations as well .Bt have warned that they phone nobody and ask for there details over the phone !

They are beatiful .My daughter has got 10 weeks to go and she is having a girl after two boys .Im so lookuing forward to it .

Jill Im with you ! All the oldies are my big love I have got nearly every musical made as well as all Elvis films cds etc .I was bought up on the rat pack and all the 50s 60s stuff and was never into current music trends. My daughter thinks im strange lol

I never realised till I got George just how much I could love a bird.Thats whats upsets and disgusts me . I just want to get hold of these ppl and do to them what they did to thses poor lovable gorgeous birds

Im only to pleased to be a member of the new site as Im sure all who signed up is. We all have one goal and thats if a bird escapes we all do our best to help find it .So anything that helps is wonderful .

Sorry took so long to update but had lots going on .George is getting more vocal and back to his normal self ! He now never shuts up again.He is eating things he never ate before either !! Very strange ! He even likes the new toys I bought him while I was away .It also gave me chance to completely blitz his cage and change it around , and he seems to like it :woohoo:

Hi everybody GODD NEWS ! Sony made it throught the surgery! The vet has got all the tumour out (he thinks) and she is a lot brighter then in previous days .She will have a check-up on mon afternoon again and then in 2 weeks .We will know when results are in if its malignant so fingers crossed .the vet says it came away quite easly and did not look as bad as some he had seen.Its the best news i could have heard really so heres keeping my fingers and toes crossed.Thanks for all your messages of support it really helps Marie xx

This is where I truly belong ! LOL I think I had more drink on holiday last week then in a full year ! And now got more excuse to drive me to drink ........................IM HOME !:evil:

George is now back home in his normal cage .However he is very quiet not talking much and eating and drinking normally.I got up this morning to find 8 of his red tail feather and 3 quite big grey feathers on his cage floor.He was moulting before I went so weather this is just on going or a bit of stress coming back home I really dont know .I just know that after the up heavel of him being unwell at first and now my cat I NEVER want to go away again !I have just come in from work and I have not got any more feathers so hopefully it was just him moulting all at once. ,and in a few days will settle down again ,he is and out of his cage as normal as well

We went on holiday last week and came home to find my cat ill .She is 17 1/2 yrs old. I took her to the emergency vets to find out she has a tumour in her mouth attached to the bottom of her tongue.She is going to be operated on Thurs Morn but the descion is that if they cannot remove it they are not going to wake her up .Our house is heart broken she as always been there through everything for us and never given us any trouble at all .I do hope she pulls through this ok <br><br>Post edited by: Poppy, at: 2009/08/11 09:17

Thanks Caroline you are a rock and a star .A shoulder to cry on . The update on george is that he is now settled and has a calc and antibiotic injection as a precaution and will be kept under close observation for the next few days .Many Thanks for all your concern it was so nice .

As you know George went to the vets boarders today cause im going on my hols .I put him in his travel cage last night( he has been in it many times before ) and this morning he seemed really happy .I put him in the car and started on the 45 min journey to the vets ,all went well george was happy in the car talking away.I got to the vets booked him in and then turned round to say bye .......George was on his back shaking like anything ,claws all askew and vomiting from his nose . Alan the vet was there fortunately so he took control said George was having a fit talked to him gently let him come out of it then cleaned him up and put him back .He was very tired and really unsteady after all this so Alan took him into the hospital at the back for some quiet. He seems to think it is stress related due to it not happening before and used to travelling and the travel cage .It was so scarey .I was in tears .I have left George at the vets and said he could do all available tests .There is not a lot more I can really do but leave him there and hope things calm down and get better.I anm gonna ring again at 5-00pm for more update .Im due to go on my holidays tomorrow and am in turmoil really. He is in the best place possible and I have got all the vets numbers and he said i could text or ring anytime for an update and go and enjoy my holiday
