  1. Hi and Welcome Brittny! I also have a (sun) conure and 2 budgies, along with my TAG. You'll find a wealth of info here to help you prepair for when you do locate that perfect grey
  2. Hi and welcome Tony! Looking forward to hearing more about you and your greys

    Indy talks!

Congrats! A word and a phrase, no telling what will be next
  4. Welcome Sentra! Congrats on your new baby.
  5. We use the Kaytee fruity pellets and the Zupreem Fruitblend . Their fruit smell is pretty strong, but not off putting. B)
  6. Morgan dips his dried banana chips in water before eating them. Just a quick dip then he happily munches away on it. He doesn't dip any other foods that I've noticed. I suspect our guys just prefer some of their food slightly damp {Nature-00020096}
  7. I've had my TAG for less than a week and I have no experience with plucking or major molting (my conure does a slow, steady, constant molting), just wanted to say hey and welcome you and Goose to the forums
  8. Congrats on your new bird! Looking forward to hearing more about him and seeing pictures, of course!
  9. Haha, I hope I never have the opertunity to confirm or deny the tuna claim
  10. Great pictures, thanks for sharing them. Belle is adorable and Beau is one handsom boy
  11. Phoenix is beautiful! Thanks for posting a picture of her
  12. Glad to hear Gizmo is back to his old self after such an odd encounter. I hope he's not too irritated with his new wing
  13. Congrats! That must be so exciting for you
  14. How awsome! Congrats on you and Charlie's breakthrough!
  15. I hope everything goes well with Baka Grey.
  16. Great pictures! Zero is adorable. I'm with hubby, I like the name Zero also. Nightmare Before Christmas is a great flick
  17. Pins are good, they mean his feathers are growing back in. Since he's getting so many pins right now, I would guess that the couple of feathers you found probably came out due to molting. Kaytee makes a product calles "Molt Ease" it may help comfort poor Refund. http://www.kaytee.com/products/search/?pid=05854 Hope he's not too uncomfortable.
  18. Hi and welcome Linda and flock! Great intro! I have a sun conure also. He's the silliest bird ever to have hatched (in our opinion lol). Can't wait to hear more about your flock and yourself! And, of course see pictures of everyone when you have a chance.
  19. The carpet aside, sounds like things are going great! Thanks for updating us on Beau.

  21. I think the blue mutation is kind of cool looking. Morgan's tail is dark grey with a bit of maroon popping up along the top of it. You can't see his maroon when his feathers are laying normally (not stretching, flying, ruffled, ect). The pics you posted sort of remind me of him... in a weird kind of "vague resemblence, but not really" sort of way... if that makes sense heh Thanks for posting those. Like others, I had no idea this mutation existed B)
  22. Hi and welcome Lisa and Brodie! Sounds like he's still adjusting to his new life and home. 2 weeks isn't very long and I think him stepping up already is a good start. I would keep trying to play with him. Patience is key. Keep trying and showing him how much fun it is to play with the toys. Eventually he'll get curious and give it a try. Good luck. Can't wait to hear more about you and Brodie <br><br>Post edited by: Abernathy, at: 2008/09/09 22:51
