Here goes: gold chain earings watch tellie remoteS clothes wooden doors shower got little plastic thingies - Gone@@ my leather couch my plastic flowers - decorations my wooden table and the list goes on - and on When his out and about and is very QUIET I KNOW SOMETHINGS UP!!!!!

Mine wakes up as soon as I get up but on weekends he starts his thing 6am but his not too loud and he talks best in the mornings till he sees me then the screaming and whistling begins :laugh:

lol they always love the stuff that aren't toys you should read the thread about homemaking toys they have lots of selfmade toys that the Grey's adore!!! Boesman loves music he starts shaking that feathers as soon as I put the music on {Communicate-00020110}

Boesman is out as soon as I wake up he then is every where I am at home say about from 6am - 7.30am when I leave for work I get home at 16.30 in the afternoon and his out till bedtime depends on the time we go to bed sometimes early sometimes late but he goes to the cage if he is tired and then I close him up weekends he is out from the time I get up till late depends on if we are going somewhere ect. Casper I also turn down invites because the one weekend he had to stay with my sister in law we had a wedding and slept over I specificcaly told her to please NOT OPEN him up as he bites other people he doesn't know!!!! I took him about 3.00am the afternoon and went and picked him up 7.00 the next morning she politly told me she flicked him on his beak because she opened the cage door and he bit her!!! Man, I was furious I told her if she would like it if I flicked her daughter on her mouth? Well we had a huge fight because to them it's just a bird to me it's my baby!! So no staying at other people anymore and if Boesman is not welcome I am not welcome :evil:

Hey Welcome to the forum great peeps here!!! Lovely TAG you have love the cage as well don't take the toys out they love playing!!! Rotate your toys every few weeks he will not get bored with it then and a new toy is always a bonus!!!

Boesman climbs in by himself at night but oh boy when his out and I have to run to the shops or something he refuses when I take my keys he says "bye" but to get him in I bribe him with goodies :cheer:

Aww man please get him to a vet!!!!!!!!!! Let us know what's happening!!!!!!!!

Entering the house: Conversation (I am Afrikaans but are gonna translate the conversation to English) Boesman "whistles" Me: "Hi My Angel" Boesman: "Hello Mom" Me: "What did you do today?" Boesman: "Boesman was naughty" Me: "Why? Was Tarkwa (dog) naughty?" Boesman: Tarkwa move,get out naughty boy" Then I am of to the kitchen to get him some goodies Boesman: "Mom what you doing?" Me: "Getting my angel some treats" And then it's whisteling, eating, playing till bedtime... Hi Boesman is 18months old now they grow up so fast!! The Vets No 011 660 3110 they are near Key West just give a call before you go but they are 7 days a week!! Boesman

Hi Casper I also have that problem lots of ants I take bodycream (odourless) and put it around the wheels of the stand they don't climb on any more and babypowder also works just be carefull if the CAG climbs down that he doesn't eat it!!!!!!!! There is this new thing from Verimark can't remember the name you plug it into the wall it's safe for birds and keeps all bugs,ant,roaches ect. away in the house will get the name for you I am gonna get me 2 of those!! But please remeber to keep the birds away form the wheels of the stand if you put cream or babypowder!!!!!

Hi I just want to make sure of the following: Sick CAG /Bird 1. Appetite loss 2. Loose stools 3. Is it true that they sleep with their head like turned backwards? If they are sick? 4. Nasal Discharge 5. Puffed feathers Boesman is very healthy but I would just like to know the signs to look out for!!

Hi Welcome I am also from SA great forum this all the help you need!!! I got Boesman at 7 weeks fed him 3 times a day also Avi + I took 2 tablespoons Avi + with warm water he ate everything in the begining and later on turned his head when he was full!! But do read those threads they are very helpfull!! I also bought him from a petshop in Key West only told me what food to give ect. no number for avian vet but there is a great avian vet in Krugersdorp just shout if you need the number took Boesman they are great!!<br><br>Post edited by: Natasha, at: 2009/05/07 12:04
