What is the healthy weight of a Grye?

Thanks for replying his got lots of toys and a perch but he doesn't seem to like the perch as much the ropes he had looks like strings now lol....going to get some more this weekend

Hi Boesman is really getting to "big for his shoes' lol thanx everybody on advising me about the grooming!!! Ok here goes how do I teach him to stay on his cage when I open up?:silly: I don't mind him walking around at home but just scared if I loose sight of him for 2min that's when he usually decides to climb down:laugh: something will happen to him at night I can open the cage and he will stay put but oh boy during the day it's a no-no for him!!!

Hey there!!! My Grye needs a grooming or rather I think that........ His nails is very sharp we have a avian vet but I am a bit concerned because my friend took hers to him ,he did cut his nails and beak and gave him a B12 injection needles to say Joe (grye) wasn't impressed and sulked for 2 days lol.....but regarding my concern why inject him with B12? Joe is happy and fine so it can't be that bad but I'm a little scared:ohmy: Thanx Nat

Hi My Grey does that too Bandits! He eats sunflower seeds most of the time as he doesn't really like "human food" except for his veggies and fruits the seeds are coloured I buy them from a pets stores the best name around here but when he gives me food it also comes out white so it's the seeds natural colour!!! So I don't think you need to worry !!! Depends on what his eating?

morning Dave Thanks for answering he only fell of twice(when I was at home) took him to the vet his fine I didn't change anything in his cage and if I intoduce him to new toys I firstly put it outside the cage for him so he can get used to it. He seems to be fine he loves hanging up side down but is not doing it more than usual is it fine for him to do that? I know of a friends parrot who does that for a hour at a time/don't know if that good?

hey everyone I just have a qeustion to ask my Grey is healthy but the last few days he just seems to loose balance and fall I am really worried about this but he is eating talking,drinking? WHAT CAN BE CAUSING THIS?

Thanks for everyone that welcomed me here!!! I have a qeustion: Probably all the greys does it exspecialy after eating or drinking they rub their beaks against the cage and if his not eating or drinking? He does it, does this mean it's itchy? And he gives me his food that is so cute he moves his head around looks like his dancing, and when I hold my hand out he puts it in my hand , so one of my friends said that is when he accepts you totally?True/False?
