Thanks for the advice guys I am taking everything to heart that is said here..Went pass my Mum this morning the woman is not going to be at home this afternoon but I asked if I can come by tomorrow she said it's fine so I am going by 2morrow afternoon ..Dave excellent suggestion I wil tel her about this site def. I have my speach ready wrote it down about how I am going to convince her to do what's best for the bird and baby. Dan he used to come out before she got divorced about 2 years ago he used to sit on the husbands shoulder but he didn't take him when they seperated so she never handled him that's why she is keeping him locked up... I am going to take the chance of opening him to see what he does maybe I can convince her to do that but with the baby around I don't no??? But this has been bothering me a long time and now I have plucked up the courage to do something about it like I said if I hurt her feelings {Emotions-000200C1} I wil take the punch

Lol no I don't have a crate at the bottom he kind of sits with the one leg up and sleeps, no perches there either lol..........His doing great he doesn't bite but nor does he step up he wil give my husband one foot but cling to the cage with the other :side: he kisses and stick his head out for a scratch he loves that he is eating wel and playing with his toys that looked like aliens to him in the beginning lol.......He is very comffy with the surroundings now than he was a few weeks back!!! Thanks for the support I wil keep you posted on what happens!!! Casper - I have tried and talk her into rehoming him it's a no-no to her but in the mean time he is closed up ect. That is the part that bothers me most him not being able to come out of the cage.

These pics are so cute :woohoo: I just can't catch those two of mine sleeping I think Boesman can smell when I awake in the morning I can tiptoe around them and then he wil whisper "goodmorning Boesman" lol and Torry sits and wait for us to awake his a early guy lol

I just spoke to my Mom on the phone.Her neighbour has TAG Vlooi his 10 years old beautiful and VERY talkative he can just mimic about everything you can think of.....Okay now he never comes out of his cage WHY? "Because he bites" I told her he bites because he is not used to human interact he has got no toys she feeds him fruits and seeds I have spoken to her this weekend to try and let him out and buying some toys and stuff al she says she hasn't got the time as she is a Mom to a 5 month old baby boy so I decided to buy him some toys and is going there 2morrow I wil introduce him to it if it takes me the whole day I wil start by just showing it on a distance ect. even if I have to go there for a few days in the afternoons I past my Moms house everyday so ja..... The thing is she left the baby in his walkingring this morning to hang up the washing outside so he went over to the cage and Vlooi bit him on his eye his okay but now she is mad at the TAG now??? How can u leave a baby near a Grye if you know his not used to people touching his cages and so on??? I have asked her why she doesn't rehome him to someone who wil spend more time with him ect. she doesn't want to do that she's had him for 8 years now and he won't be able to adapt to other people that's her believe so I am going to intervene I don't care if she gets mad at me at least get him some toys..... Thanks Judy that's what I was thinking just my husband was worried so he made me worry too lol.....He really adores the little guy they are best friends as Boesman bites my husband :ohmy:

I shop at the petshop lol....:laugh: We have 5 petshops al of thems got toys,food ect. but they are darn expensive :whistle:

I don't know it's the Grey I rescued from my Moms dog his eyes are yellowish so I suspect his older than Boesman but his beautiful so elegant one can say

We decided on a name for our newest CAG we named him Torry My husband is a bit concerned when we close Torry up at night he sits at the bottom of the cage??? It's like he sleeps at the bottom he is eating,drinking,playing,whistling very wel and looks great I bathed him on Saturday (both of them) and was astouned at how wel he took it he opened his wings and put his little cute face towards the water....He really enjoyed it it's bathtime again Saterday if the weather plays along..............!!! So any help on why he chooses to sleep at the bottom of the cage he also plays alot at the bottom so it's cleaning the cage everyday 2 times because I don't want he playing in his poop...:blink:<br><br>Post edited by: Natasha, at: 2009/05/29 10:47

Luvparrots He is a year old now but naughty like u can't believe he ate my cars bumpers :blink: hopefully that passes as he gets older we are going to a dogshow on Saturday the breeder that saw him wants him there so we'll see how he does!!!

Boesman also hangs upside down(on my clothes) and boy he clings for his life lol........also when I open the cage he clings my fingers and won't let go I can try and put him anywhere he just refuses to let go :woohoo:

The Guys are doing great getting me under now lol..there is 4 of them husband,2 CAGS,and the dog but I enjoy every moment with them.......The new one is setting in wel he is so graceful while there is Boesman :ohmy: boy his a naughty little bugger he got hold of my lipstick cover this morning needles to say I had a cover lol............ I'm so happy the twins are doing gryet!!!

Everytime I clean the floor beneath Boesman's cage he wil bend down and grab my hair so now this usually follows... Me: " Boesman wait now" Boesman: "WAIT NOW,WAIT NOW OOOOOOOOOHHHHWHOOOOOOO" Me" "Boesman who's messing this much?" You? Boesman: "who mess like this, who mess like this Boesman?" He wil repeat himself a zillion times........it's so cute when he hears water running in the bathroom his there in 5 minutes comes walking in "oooohwhoooo" and makes the sound of water running....:laugh:
