  1. perhaps I should just coat the entire interior of my condo in wax paper. i could tell people it's modern art and if they don't get it they can go poop off
  2. i hit enter too soon... I should have also added that the couch was purchased a few mos before our little feathered micromanager arrived, and as he is proud of his manor, he does not chew on things he is not supposed to chew on.
  3. I dunno, I have a nice microfiber couch, it came scotchguarded and works very well, i dont worry about it at all. schroeder even ground oatmeal into it last month and it cleaned with some wipes of a wet cloth.
  4. WHAT!? I thought all bird owners have scotchguard
  5. i do, but i have trillian, and dont know how to add people. my husband installed it and suddenly my messages got so hard/ my aim is pinuptat, i have both stratumjen and pinuptat for yahoo, no icq
  6. I know this thread is about poop, but I am laughing so hard I gotta pee
  7. LOL, I just laughed so hard coke shot out my nose. It burrrrrrrrrrrns! I will keep your ratio in mind. Im wondering where the tears of joy will cvome form for the initial mix as I can't get them from product use before I have the product. Perhaps I will substitute the tears welling up from my coke burn....wait that came out wrong.
  8. Thanks Dave, that's awesome. Do you use a 50/50 ratio?I will have to go buy some white vinegar tomorrow. My delicate manicure thanks you.
  9. My name is jen...not Icarus You provide the turkey dinner but everyone gets foodpoisoning because you didn't have time to cook the meat all the way, and you get sued into oblivion. I wish poop off worked (see is poop off a sham thread)
  10. Ok, so we are all in agreement that Poop Off and its competetors all stink, are crappy products and aint worth shi......well, you get the idea. thanks for your help ladies, I will spend my money on toys and treats instead of cleaning products....mebbe invest in some 2 ply paper towels.
  11. I really hope you are laughing at me and not with me. i take poop removal very seriously over here
  12. Well poo....don't I feel like a huge weenietard? So Is there a product that works at all, or should I stick with water?
  13. Last week I had to use some poop off to remove a patty that had dried to my windowcill...It was a pain and I ended up soaking the lump for 5 min in poop off before I could scrape the mess off with a fingernail. I should mention that Schoreder has window access, and had walked thrould the poo, really spreading it around and grinding it in. It was not a standard bird poo lump. Fast forward to today... Horror of horrors, I ran out of Poop Off. I thought I had a back up bottle, but it seems I don't, so I have to use water to clean what are typically Poop Off worthy messes. Imagine my shock when they were just as easy to clean with water then with Poop Off. So riddle me this Batman: If Poop off does not ease the cleaning of difficult messes or work better than water on easy messes, why the heck have I been spending my money on it? Has anyone here been wowed by their poop off? Is it a good product that just doesnt meet my needs? Or are we all buying it just because we are supposed to and it never crossed our minds not to?
  14. No problem. I couldn't find any timneh videos, but I heard that timnehs spend more time on the ground than congos, and tend to get much muddier. I am inclined to believe it now that Schroeder has helped me with the weeding in the garden a few times. He ended both times by being a very dirty birdy.
  15. this one is better than the ones i just postes I should mention that schroeder got REALLY loud when I was watching it. You may want to put your birds in another room
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnnOx178Z64 the last one is loud
  17. Did you give your bird any new foods or toys? I bought Schroeder a dyed wood chew toy, depending on what part of it he played with/chewed on his poo changed color. By the end of the day we had Schroeders technicolor dream poo collection on a paper towel. It was a sight to see. Needless to say, I did not buy that toy again. You may want to think back and try to figure out what may have been in that beak.
  18. Way to go Dan ! ! ! Schroeder and I are doing the happy dance for you. Hope you find the position as rewarding as the rest of us will find you being in it beneficial. Wooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooo
  19. I think it maybe because they look similar to the flight suits that cover the bodies of pilots....Forgiving the bright colors and lack of sleeves and legs.....
  20. I am the cleaning crew, and you're right. I don't enjoy it.....but I give myself an extra bonus to cover for it Thanks for your help everyone!
  21. I do not spoil Schroeder, he spoils me with unconditional love, laughter, comfort and wit. He graces my floors with his poo and my ears with his birdy "songs" when my home is too clean, he kindly leaves feather dander everywhere. he eats all the food that I buy so I dont get fat and I get so much exercise running after him. He is the greatest joy that I have. He is my little love Muffin. Soft, puffy and sweet
  22. Hello Donna, nice clip, I'm sure, after 15 years, you have accumulated a ton of useful information, and I am looking forward to learning from you as you post on the forum. Coco is wonderful, I can see she is well loved.
  23. Yes, he has the life. Work benefits for him include, but are not limited to: a fully funded retirement package, fully paid for health insurance from VPI, catered meals, a nice view, a forgiving learning climate and a CEO that does all of his work for him. Its easy to spoil him though. Every time I ask him for a kiss I get it, and he doesnt bite or scream nearly as much as I would tolerate. I have a question about the blue light you mentioned earlier. Do you actually have a blue bulb? I thought they were supposed to have full spectrum light and bought him a grow bulb at the local plant store. Do they both do the same thing, or should I replace his bulb?
