There would be no quarantine period exposing him. I don't know if you could trust that.

He doesn't own the firm but was hired on as top guy #3 on the major projects. He's cute too. Oh well, thought I'd ask. hehehe:unsure:

That dog looks quick like a deer with those lanky legs!

You're a beautiful lady. Your CAG is only 5 wks? Looks big! Hey my brother is a single good looking architect in New Orleans. Hmmm.....???

I tried to research this. If I understood what I read it is imposible at this time because of the sizing. Hence it available in the form of collars. I read China used it for migratory birds to monitor bird flu. However I didn't understand how wether a collar or implant. Then I also came across info on causing tumors.

Wow that would be fantastic! Sometimes dishonest people don't want to return found pets. Then some of us should get the chip because I saw a sign the other day "found bird". I need to check into it. I'll keep an eye out for info too.

I found these today. At least my decor in the living room and kitchen has dolphins, fish, etc.

I had an allergist test me as asthma was getting worse. I am allergic to dogs, cats, horse, rabbit, guinea pig type pets, cockroach, certain molds, ggrasses and trees. NOT FEATHERS/BIRDS. My allergies worsened moving here to Texas. I needed to identify pets or environment. When you have these tests done it isn't a guarantee that you are allergic to your specific bird or not EVEN though you may test POSITIVE for ffeather allergies but it can give you an idea. Another example would be bedding. Some persons are not allergic to cats but to the LITTER.

So sorry! Is that the same danger as crashing into a window? I'm working on solutions. I think I'm going to clip because of that and I'm afraid my family and others will not be conscientious opening doors even though I have signs on them.

My mom's dog lived to be 22 and it was a Husky. Usually small dogs live longest. Thanks Toni. That is sort of what I was picturing in my head.

Is the appx sexual maturity age 5 to 6? I'm not even sure what sexual behavior is but I guess we have a few years before concern. Thanks!

I set up a toy with calculator paper rolls. I am wondering if this allows them to mimick nesting behavior which in turn prompts sexual behavior??? I was told not to allow my Macaw to tear at phone books because of this. Any input from experienced owners???

He likes my head best. I won't leave him there but I think he not only likes the height but he can hold onto my hair being pulled back in pony tails. It's summer so I wear a lot of spagetti strap shirts. So he doesn't seem to perch on my shoulder well and hurts a bit too. (Yes I gave into shoulder perching!) I'm thinking of making a bib type thingy to put on so he can perch better. Anybody have any tips for such. I have an idea but I'd like direction if any of you have done this already. Thanks!

Your welcome to any of the ideas I put together. I keep looking for more and more stuff to make. I'll have a years supply before I'm done! Beats the price of bird toys out there. Second hand stores and garage sales are great for kid toys, links, etc. I have used 2x4 to make blocks and dyed with coolaid. Then I just added a variety of stuff. Coolaid even dyes shells as I have made colorful garfish jewelry that way. http://www.greyforums.net/forums/the-nursery/84583-my-toys-and-perches.html Oh yeah, of course not treated wood.

Post edited by: Mel, at: 2008/07/21 05:17

I don't really know but I can offer some thoughts. Some people like pet stores that allow you to bring pets in. However I'm thinking that is a health risk. Agood pet store isn't going to allow say hamsters to be bargained because of possible health risk. Do some aviarian pet stores actually quarantine trade in or consignment birds? Hmm... Maybe you can check BBB even. Supposedly AKC has an approved breeder list. Whatever that means. Perhaps the same could be said of some kind of bird organization if they exist. Good luck.

Wow! Yes you are reading correctly! Where do you live?!

I went to Home Depot and got dowel screws. I still need to pull out my hubby's elec saw. It's taking too long by hand! I'd like to see a pic too.

What's wrong with the US allowing unsafe toys from China? Hmm. The dollar store has mini ones. I wonder if they're made in China.

That might be true but in my case I really believe he is trying to tell mke to let him out. He does it in the morning when he hears me get up or when I come home. He first started it when I picked him up and he was obviously not ready. Stinker! I am ignoring it though because I don't want him to accidentally hurt himself. I would rather he learn to ring a bell or say something. It is kinda funny though. He reminds me of a puppy!

I'm having fun being creative! Check out my Robotic couple! I keep looking around the house to see what I can use next!:woohoo:

Yesterday morning he refused to take the formula. This is generally when he is most hungriest. This morning he barely took less than 1/2 the syringe. Can I assume he is fully weaned? Thanks!
