  1. Eew! That sounds minging! Does he pull that out of his nose? I've never seen ALfie do that before - I'll be interested to read what other members have to say about it!
  2. That's a grand idea! Alfie plays with the little paper cake cases, but I never thought about the cups before! Thanks.
  3. Lol - I can't belive Emma is actually singing along with Tight Fit! Priceless!! Sorry to hear about your camera Adina, are yousure it's dead though and not just in a reeeeally deep sleep? I once dropped my camera phone in a river and it worked fine once I let it dry out! Jill, that is so thoughtfull of you. Just last week Alfie flew onto my left shoulder and threw me off balance somewhat, I accidently tumbled into the telly and knocked it over and it broke. It was a 52" HD 3D LCD. Seriously though Adina - great vid, thanks for sharing.
  4. Lol Janet - that cat clearly has a problem constructing sentences, but the words are clear enough!! "Why I eyes ya" Hahahahahaaaaaaa!!
  5. They are aren't they Jill - I'm going to dig out and post the others too - everybody should see these!
  6. 'Scuse me....Scottish and Northern coalition Branch of the RSPB!! Lol!! And I fished a Bumble Bee out of the water bucket this evening! I think we've settled on the chimney as most probable point of entry. But Dan, your darkened room suggestion was very enterprising - it sounds like you are talking from experience? I'm glad I didn't have to do it though - big windows and sky lights - would have been a right pain in the you know where!!! LOL!!!!
  7. Tea is her dinner we give her at tea-time - it's maybe a scottish thing! Lol - Don't worry - you're not neglecting some important task!
  8. That's all we can think of - I'd completely overlooked the chimney because it's unused and covered over, but we think that's where it's come in. I don't think Alfie would fly up the chimney though so it's safe again.!
  9. I've just had to go up to a back room that we are kind of using as a store room at the minute. I almost had a heart attack as I caught movement out of the corner of my eye (our hotel is haunted), but it was just a starling who had found his way in somehow, I'm home alone but managed to get a towel over him and let him out without too much fuss, but it's a big room with two skylights and he kept wanting to go up there. My worry is this. I have no idea yet, how he got in, but if he got in, could Alfie get out? She's is often up there with us so there are obviously no windows open or anything - I'm flummoxed, but needless to say - that part of the house is out of bounds to her untill we figure it out! Never a dull moment, eh!!
  10. Hmmm, I'm not very good at sprouting either - I buy my beans ready sprouted from the co-op, they're washed and all ready to eat or boil - Alfie tucks right in. I might try the millet, just to give her something new, but I don't hold out much hope!
  11. Wow - that was superfast delivery!! But hey - you must be skiving!! You have all those chores to do and you still have time to come and chat??!!! Oops - that's the pot calling the kettle I think. Never mind - however you get the job done - it can't be all work and no play, eh!!
  12. Aah Jill that's great! Like Paul says, it's a trust thing. I think it's a huge compliment that they feel safe enough in our hands, as it were, to surrender themselves to us in this way. Harvey sounds as if he's really coming into his own of late. Thanks for sharing this lovely little tale.
  13. I've never seen this before - it looks amazing. I'll watch the whole thing when I get a minute - the scottish budgie is funny!
  14. Very clever - I saw her change! This one took me ages, but then made me laugh! http://www.jasonunger.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/magic-eye.gif
  15. Lol Adina - she has her moments!
  16. Lol that's brilliant!! Your udercover skills are second to none! And it sounded like he almost had the makigs of a chicken too - we'll get a full version of "Old McDonnald" yet!! Now never mind the piggy video - I want to see a video of you getting the video - that sounds priceless!!
  17. This was quite a funny little clip - it's dead short, but gave me such a laugh I had to share.
  18. What cute cute cute pics! Thanks for sharing.
  19. Alfie isn't always very interested in her toys, but this one is in favour at the moment. She usually chucks whatever is in it away, but she has fun getting it out!
  20. Lol Steven, thanks. Did you think it was pig-like? I've heard her get her quacks and her oinks a little muddled and it comes out as a sort of quoink. Lol!
  21. Ok, so recently I read Jillybeanz say that her grey could do a better pig impression, and I just couldn't resist, so here it is...... the challenge has been extended! Jill (or anyone else with a convincing piggy!) - we eagerly await your video!!
  22. Sure you can - all you need is an extra set of eyes, located in the back of your head, and 2 extra pairs of hands and your sorted! Good luck, let us know how you come on - if you survive that is!! Lol just kidding!
  23. Haha that's funny Sheila - never heard it before , thanks for sharing.
