Tuki is a baby, cant even crack a nut yet and simon is declawed and has a tendency to befriend odd animals, such as my old pet rats and he would never hut a fly...escpecially since they were sittin on my lap. Cute picures everyone

Im so sorry its not working out! But at least you know he will be going to a good home! Maybe you could visit on occasion, or the new owners could send you updates! I know that with the fids I have adopted from their old owners, I send regular updates and pictures. I also made a website about all of my fids that each owner has a link to, that way if im busy and cant get an update to them they can go read their pages and see what they have been up to. I keep that up to date at all times and they all love it! Again im sorry things didnt work out for you

Well we dont reaqlly know yet since she is still handfeeding, but I bet she will do fine. Her beak isnt bad at all, and my Mitred has a severe case of scissor beak and does great!I will keep you posted when she grows up a little more

I agree with Tari, if im working on taming a tiel I dont give them mirrors. However Joey my 17 year old tiel has a mirror because he isnt one I try to tame.

LOL! Well I went to a bird fair...I knew I was getting some birds from friends for free. I got a new pair of lovebirds, 2 button quail babies (TINY!), a baby budgie, and 3 cockatiels...I picked out a breeding pair of them and then the person just gave us a normal grey one too.On all of those smaller birds I only spent $45, Tuki was very unexpected! We have been looking for a Blue and gold but we were saving up for one yet. Well she has 2 slight handicaps and the lady was looking for a good home for her. We got her for $600 because she has a slightly crooked beak and is missing the tip of one toe. She is only 3 and 1/2 months old and in my eyes shes perfect!! She is super sweet and I would not trade her for one without those little "handicaps"!! She is Shane and my 3rd anniversery present to eachother (our anniversery is today ) So it sounds like a ton of new fids but they kind of just came in pairs, and YAY for new breeders!! Ill take pics in a bit and post them!

LOL! Thats great!! Shane saw your German Shorthair and I got those huge sad eyes and an "I want one"...I told him we cant have a bird dog with our birds...guess I need to rethink that now...LOL!
