  6. I rehomed an 8 year old Grey who had been cage bound for years! My little fella is now full of confidence, loves his life, and has become a big part of my family! As long as you have time, love and patience and dont expect too much too soon I think you will be so rewarded by bringing this little guy home. Each bird is different and you will learn to go at your Grey's pace, he will let you know each time he is ready to move on a step. Good luck xxx
  7. I have been asking about trying to find safe ways to freshen up the house. I have tried lots of natural methods but just want to ask if anyone has used reed difusers around their birds which use essential oils. Thanks everyone xx

  15. Tully has been with us for 3 weeks now and is doing really well, I am so pleased with him! He is gaining trust slowly but surely and has settled in far better than I expected. Yesterday we changed his cage over, the one he came in was rusty but I gave him a few weeks to adapt and managed to find an identical new cage for him, he changed over no problem. His feathers are slowly coming back and he has steadily gained weight. He is a good 532g at the moment and is trying new foods all the time. He loves Harrisons and is eating this as his main diet now. I believe the diet, lighting and attention he is getting are all contributing to how good he is starting to look. I love this guy already! I just wanted to share his latest picture I took this morning, there is definetly a big difference to when I first got him. Heres my baby boy:)
  16. Judy you dont need to, I spoke to my vet the other week about this and she said if they are on a good pellet diet there is no need for extra supplements etc. Now Tully is on Harrisons Im not going to bother anymore.
  17. This is really sad news, I am so sorry and my heart goes out to you.x
  18. Davie, Im not sure as the essentials 3 is to be added to food. I used to use the essentials 1 with Tully which is added to water. Is your grey on a pellet based diet? If so he wont need the extra vitamins:)
