  12. As siobhan said, perhaps someone is missing there bird,i should imagine it has escaped from somewhere.check to see if any flyer's suddenly go up in local shops & trees ! It will need to be kept away from your conures in quarantine for at least 4/ 6 weeks, just as a precautionary measure. Then i would house it separate from your birds.
  13. It worked, i think there great, introducing it right from when you bring your baby home is ideal, the elevated one will be perfect for you will it not in your wheelchair ? I have this one...only got it Saturday & mine hate it but there 3,2 & two of 15 months so ill give it time http://www.bird.com/search.asp?SKW=BAA&catID=2
  14. Link's not working i think it;s the same as i have, ill upload some pics tomorrow as it's late here in the UK my greys are asleep
  15. By three months the baby will be eating a variety of foods, you wont need to continue handfeeding for a another three months, but i would give a nightime feed from a spoon, a little baby food or similiar.many babys find this a comfort, my boys still love a spoonfeed at 15 months
  16. Well your both doing a good job, keep up the good work the pair of you
  17. Yep im afraid that's how it goes, i think personally greys have more of an issue than other species.I just re homed a caique on sunday & he no problem with his new cage or home Just give it time as you are doing.
  18. claire did you pick the one in the picture you first posted ?
  19. Hi Terri, im so pleased it's all over for you all, glad to have you back
  20. john if you go visit your baby why not take a picture for us, we love them baby pics
  21. Does she make any baby noises at all ? Is your house relatively calm ? this can have an effect on our greys, if it is a busy household they tend to be louder & noisier as they grow often to compete over the noise. They do tend to be more vocal in the mornings then on and off during the day, periods of calm & quiet, then a period of vocalizing.I wouldnt be too concerned if everything else is fine with Obi
  22. Thanks for the link jmacek07 , We have a welcome room, why not pop in & introducce yourself
  23. {Feel-good-0002006E}The father simply aimed incorrectly
  24. fairymyst78 is your breeder going to handrear this grey to fully weaned ? Perhaps air your concerns with your breeder & ask how she intends to raise the baby, if that doesnt put your mind at ease then wait for another clutch, But personally i dont see any issues or problems with the lone baby.
  25. Practice makes perfect,he will be fine once he has found his bearings Great picture.
