  1. Unfortunately there is no way of knowing if it well work or just upset the balance you seem to have right now with your birds. Can you take it on a trail bases to see if they would get along? I know this can be hard on a bird coming and going but if you can't make it work well they accept the bird back? Keep in mind though just cause he does ok with the rest for a while don't mean come breeding season you may have to be prepared to keep them away from each other. Do you have the room for that? Just some food for thought.
  2. I think it is a Pothos that has been trained and pruned to group up instead if makind a vine. Just not sure.

  4. It really don't matter if it well get along with your grey cause the best thing to do is to not let them be together. Really need to sticky a write up about parrots playing together. Parrots can and do rip off beak, toes, feet, and wings. Even keeping breeder pairs together this sort of thing can happen. Joey my amazon was beat on daily by his "mate" It is lucky he never got anything more the cuts and scraps. Even supervised pets can hurt each other in the blink of an eye. But they still will enjoy the sounds of another parrot and can ever learn to make each others call. My grey recently started making budgie sounds. However she makes them a lot louder then they do. lol So if you get another bird it well be for you not your grey. Even on the off chance you can let them "play" outside the cage it well be your bird. Twice the cage cleaning time. Twice the one on one time with you. Twice (maybe more in the case of an amazon) the food and twice the cost in toys. If those things are ok with you then you can't hardly go wrong with an amazon. They are one of the easiest to re tame as they are very forgiving of human mistakes. Good Luck
  5. I beleive they both have the same life span.
  6. Did the vet run any test and was it an avain vet? Aloe and misting can help. And if he has been doing it a long time he may need meds for skin yeast. They get this sometimes when the pluck and it makes the plucking worse cause it itches. So be sure he goes to an avain vet and gets tested.
  7. I must say I just love that sun conure shot.:woohoo: The rest are great too thank you for sharing.
  8. You can ignore the words that is a good start and try to teach him words that sound like the words he is saying and hope he starts saying those instead. Example Truck, or Duck. Sheet or Get. It can take months but don't give up. Good luck
  9. http://www.quizilla.com/users/snowydonkey/quizzes/ Told me cockatiel which is weird cause they are to beaky for me. /shrug Fun anyway.
  10. Something about a special needs bird always tugs at my heart. I am however shocked that the breeder did not do all this before she placed the bird. Please try to keep you spirits up you know as well as we all do how these amazing birds can pick up on how we fell. My prayers are with you.
  11. AFTER BEING MARRIED FOR 44 YEARS, I TOOK A CAREFUL LOOK AT MY WIFE ONE DAY AND SAID, "HONEY, 44 YEARS AGO WE HAD A CHEAP APARTMENT, A CHEAP CAR, SLEPT ON A SOFA BED AND WATCHED A 10-INCH BLACK AND WHITE TV, BUT I GOT TO SLEEP EVERY NIGHT WITH A HOT 25-YEAR-OLD GAL. NOW I HAVE A $500,000.00 HOME, A $45,000.00 CAR, NICE BIG BED AND PLASMA SCREEN TV, BUT I'M SLEEPING WITH A 65-YEAR-OLD WOMAN. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT YOU'RE NOT HOLDING UP YOUR SIDE OF THINGS." MY WIFE IS A VERY REASONABLE WOMAN, SHE TOLD ME TO GO OUT AND FIND A HOT 25-YEAR-OLD GAL, AND SHE WOULD MAKE SURE THAT I WOULD ONCE AGAIN BE LIVING IN A CHEAP APARTMENT, DRIVING A CHEAP CAR, SLEEPING ON A SOFA BED AND WATCHING A 10-INCH BLACK AND WHITE TV. AREN'T OLDER WOMEN GREAT? THEY REALLY KNOW HOW TO SOLVE A MAN'S MID-LIFE CRISES
